XII - Old Fashioned Restaurant

Tuesday Night 8pm dining. Wonderful service, great cuisine, nice atmosphere. As an Oakville resident of over 30 Years, we didn’t feel GOUGED & RIPPED OFF. The owner truly cares for his patrons. I’m Definitely coming back. Highly recommended. Ask for Michael the owner upon entry & server Jazz. I give it a solid 4.5 out of 5. Thank You for a wonderful Night. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This place is a rare gem located in the charming downtown Oakville area, but it feels hidden away in its own quaint location. You walk in and immediately feel taken away to a time where dining was not only celebrated it was an entire experience to be remembered. Michael and his staff take this concept to next level dining and I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is so hard to find a restaurant that does every aspect to its top tier but; this place has nailed it. Before even eating you already know the food will be amazing and we were definitely not disappointed. All recipes were carefully crafted, tested and with the depth of flavours you can tell as soon as you have that first bite. Just, wow. If you are looking for the whole package, this is it. Do yourself a favour and go and enjoy this experience immediately! Thank you so much for making a night out one to remember XII & team, we will be back over and over!

Let me start by saying amazing staff and restaurant owner. He served us himself on busy Saturday. Very classy/bougie restaurant. Great food. The atmosphere was amazing as well as the stake. Shoutout for the host for being so kind and helpful. 💕

Came here for my birthday and was blown away by the food and service. An excellent gem in downtown Oakville. We felt so special and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. You will see us again for sure!!

New restaurant but still has to work out some kinks. Restaurant was under staffed and I understand it’s hard but overall dinner was lacking due to food and atmosphere. Ordered the crab cakes, tomatoe & bacon salad, cowboy steak and halibut. Halibut with hollandaise was good, the side of broccolini was just OK. Crab cakes were not my favourite, the texture was a bit off. Tomatoe and bacon salad was interesting, I did not expect to get a full, steaming tomatoe. It wasn’t bad but it was just not what I expected at all. I thought it’d be a typical cold salad with cut tomatoes. The cowboy steak was a disappointment, we ordered rare but it was cooked medium. They did offer to send a new one but at that point we did not want to stay much longer. Restaurant is nicely decorated, it has that old time aesthetic that it was going for but the establishment did end up getting a bit warm and some smoke from kitchen started entering the dining area. I can tell the staff tried their best and the owner is very nice, he even came out to apologize. Hope them all the best.

Absolutely awesome experience. Speak easy vibes were amazing! Jazz our waiter was so kind and attentive! Micheal made the most amazing cocktails and we could not get over the food! Get the lamb and chocolate cake.. it’s incredible!

We finally found it, our new favourite restaurant! Located in the heart of Oakville on Lakeshores bustling waterfront, this brand new restaurant was an experience like no other. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by super friendly staff, to the 1950s Rat Pack inspired vibe and followed by the most delicious food, we didn’t want to leave! The super warm and welcoming atmosphere accompanied by live entertainment was top notch but it sure didn’t stop there. From our amazing cocktails to our delicious appetizers it was a perfect dining experience from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed the generous portions and amazing taste of the crab cakes and caesar salad but were truly blown away by the juicy burger and NY strip paired perfectly with the most fantastic bordelaise sauce. No detail was missed including roasted garlic and Newfoundland sea salt served with the steak. Even their coffee was top notch and a perfect way to finish the night. We couldn’t have been happier with our server Jazz who ensured a great dining experience and even the owner Michael came out to make sure all was to our liking. The atmosphere, the live entertainment, friendly staff and owner and especially the food, made this night a night to remember. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone young or old looking for a similar dining experience. I would give 6 stars if I could to our new favourite spot - XII Old Fashioned restaurant!

What a delight. A new hidden gem In the heart of Oakville Great live jazzy tunes paying homage to the rat pack times. The atmosphere was just right and the decor, well perfect. Nice touches thru-out the space. Service was top notch, shout out to Jazz and Micheal for wine selections. Overall happy you are here in Oakville, love the music
