Every single dish here was a banger. Pretty fast service, they brought out plates periodically, but we were never left with no food to eat. So many good dishes to try so invite a lot of your friends to come and share dishes! My MUST gets: Deep Fried Pork Slice with Sweet & Sour Sauce Clear Noodle with Special Sauce Salty Egg Corn

As someone who has tried many Chinese skewer restaurants in the GTA, xiaofangyang is really delicious! I can definitely taste the difference in the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The spice blend is perfect without being too rich in cumin - it’s the best complement to the food itself. HUGE fan of the tender skewers and the fried pork was amazing! I also really loved the clear noodles with veggies and spicy sauce - can’t wait to be back here!!

Portions are huge and the flavours are decent, the waiting around took a while (guessing the kitchen is understaffed) and the loud noises of people talking made it slightly unenjoyable to dine here. Overall a good place to eat at if you don’t mind the noise or just craving some northern Chinese food after some grocery shopping at Asia Food Mart nearby.

Solid 4.5 stars. Would return especially for the lamb skewers and grilled eggplant The chicken skin skewers to crispier then I thought they would be.. I would say they were half crispy, not like does fries crispy.. but for grilled chicken skin skewers it would crispier then I expected Beers were less then $4/bottle White fish was also crispy and good… had a few other items.. nothing bad to say about the food The service was good, we went during lunch and the place was only have full Bill was $30pp including a beer.. we were both pretty full Furniture was a bit old…

Food was overall tasty. The cabbage dish was a bit bland. The corn dish was great. The 3 types of veggies dish was delicious but unfortunately very oily. The pork intestine dish was perfect and tasted amazing. The skewers were quite average and I wish they were a bit more spicy. The lamb skewers were however very fatty and had big chunks of fat along with the meat. The huge amounts of fat should have been trimmed off before cooking. Service was not the most friendly as one of the waiters looked like he wasn’t happy at his job. Overall decent place for a dinner but many things can be improved.

Great place for friends gathering. Food is decent here. Make sure you order their signature deep fried pork slice with sweet and sour sauce. It’s probably the best in town. The Chinese sweet potato dessert is also my personal favorite.

Pretty decent place for some Chinese barbecue restaurants if you’re craving for some skewers This place have good amount of meat and veggies to pick from, very creative dishes also, got some seafood grill, spicy fish pot, and dessert menu. Beef and lamb skewers are good nice, juicy and tender, not to dry, very flavourful. Prices for the dishes is very reasonable compare to all other Chinese barbecue places where it’s way expensive even thought with the inflation happening, but this place keep it low and affordable without losing and quality . Overall it’s an not bad experience, servers are quick and nice. Will recommend if you’re near by !

Went here twice this week. The food has a good portion size and I paid a good price for it. They just opened so you get a discount when you pay in cash. I would really recommend the grilled fish and the seafood pot! The skewers were also pretty good. I think my group enjoyed everything that we ordered. The only thing was that they were busy and didn't get to take away our empty dishes quickly enough!
