Xiang Zi HotPot

I was really excited because I’ve been wanting to try this hotpot place for a while as I pass by it quite often. I was a bit disappointed because the service wasn’t really good. We came on a weekday and wasn’t busy but our server seemed unhappy when explaining how everything worked. When we asked for tissues as we didn’t get any, she sighed then went to get it. Another time we asked her to refill the soup, she poured like very little as if she was trying to save it? So we ended up asking other servers to refill our soup and for other items the rest of the night. You can order meats and other items on the iPad. As well as get your own outside, they have different selections for fruits, hot snacks and more. They have a premium menu that is limited two dishes per person. Don’t make the mistake like me of getting the cuttlefish as a premium item because they literally have it outside. I did like that they had pork neck and the fancy interior. I think this hotpot place is a bit pricey and the food selection they have is pretty average compared to the other AYCE hotpot places around.

Was too busy eating, didn't get proper photos of this place, but it was clean and the food was good. They also had covers for your jackets and service was wonderful. Only complaint against this place is... Please change up the music!!

First time experiencing this type of food. Service was a bit off, trying to get additional paid beverages or a la carte food was a bit difficult. The food itself was amazingly fresh, the seafood and meats I had were amazing. Definitely tasted fresh and cooked in the broth, along with some ramen noodles and bok chop, it was definitely worth it. The cooked dishes as well were very tasty and a good compliment to the soups. Pops are put alongside the buffet area, so you just grab what you want to drink. The staff when interacting with them are friendly, and do want you to have a great time and enjoy yourself. Our group had a great time overall and can't wait to donthis again!!!

We went for a birthday celebration of my friend and was surprised how many choices were available for the hot pot. I tried the 2 soup base that has chicken and the other one with the mushroom flavour. Both soups were great and they were full of authentic ingredients. The meat is fresh and the vegetables. Service is good and they were helpful when we asked about the options of the other dishes. There is a dipping station and I experimented with the different types of spices, sauce. And it was delicious. It’s highly recommended for an all you can eat hot spot place.

This is the most authentic and delicious hot pot I’ve ever had in North America! When I went to visit my aunt in Toronto, she took me there, and I was blown away. The menu has so many options, and the ingredients are super fresh and high-quality. The broth is incredibly flavorful and rich—it hits just right with every bite. They also have free snacks and desserts, which are surprisingly tasty and hard to resist. Overall, it was such a satisfying and heartwarming meal. If you’re ever in Toronto, you’ve got to check this place out!

Went here for dinner on a week day with a bunch of friends. The restaurant wasn't too crowded that eve. We were seated promptly and the servers took time explaining the menu and how to place the order. We opted for the 3 soup hotpot and ordered some meats and veggies. Service was prompt and most of the items we tried tasted good. The items on the buffet table weren't the greatest. The servers kept refilling the soup bowl as needed. Overall, we had a great experience. Note: certain soups can be really spicy🔥, but tasty nonetheless!

Authentic and delicious Chinese hot pot for a reasonable price. Love the atmosphere and the variety of foods. They have an interesting menu selection. Including, bullfrog legs, shrimp paste, lamb skewers and icy jelly dessert. They have it all! The staff is friendly and provides exceptional service. My family loves coming here and says it’s their favourite hot pot place.

First time having dinner here, excellent service and fresh dishes! I can’t have too much watermelon at a time, thus the lady served us helped with getting a few pieces; very quick to clean our plates. If you stay in Markham, you shouldn’t miss here. 😎 Highly recommend to the ones enjoy spicy food and hotpot.🥂
