***CASH/DEBIT ONLY*** Food is good. Wontons are big and juicy. You get 4 of them. Noodles are firm and bouncy. Broth is rich and flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes you receive. Base tip amount is preset to 15%. Service is not great. Feels rushed. I asked for some more tea and the server rolled his eyes. When finished, you wait to pay at the counter. This is why I mention the base tip amount. This is basically a food court wonton shop serving decent food and pretending to be a sit down restaurant. That's why this is now "Express".

Came during busy lunch rush on a Saturday. There were many people ahead of us but the wait wasn't too long. Option to share table for a shorter wait. We ordered the wonton noodles in soup. The noodles were nice and chewy. Wontons were massive and tasted decent. Go easy on their hot chili oil as it is quite 🔥

Prices here are reminiscent of the past! They are not very expensive for a lot of food so that is good. I ordered their wonton noodle soup with wonton and dace fishballs. The noodles themselves were okay, a little tough. The soup was good. The wontons and fishballs are both huge! The wonton were quite salty but the taste was still overall good. They were not soft enough, though. The fishballs were not very good in my opinion. They had a weird taste. I would stick to just the wonton here. This place does satisfy my wonton noodle cravings but it is still below what I expect in a good wonton noodle place.

This is the only wonton noodle restaurant in Mississauga. It’s average quality. Not the best but not the worst. Each bowl comes with 4 big wontons. A lot of shrimps inside. The noodle texture is towards the harder side but I loved it. Price is reasonable.

Great food, great service. Tbh, I was always skeptical of restaurants with "Express" in their names, especially when it comes to Asian food. But Wonton Express is an exception. The wontons are not only huge but also authentic. Even the beef briskets are so flavourful. Whenever I miss the food from home or need some comfort food, I'll come here.

This restaurant has the best wonton soup. The staff is friendly and on point. The soups are a good size and the shrimp wontons are huge. The wontons taste great and the wonton skin isn’t thick like other restaurants. There is also a great variety of soups/food on the menu. They also sell frozen wontons for you to take home, which is something I haven’t seen a lot of restaurants offer.

If you just want good food, this is the place to be, especially if you love Hong Kong style wonton noodles. We've been going here for over 15 years when it was used to be called Wonton Chai. They live up to the name because these are hands down the best wontons in the city. It's probably one of the best in the world but I won't make that claim until I've eaten more wontons from other cities. Briskets are amazing, dumplings are incredible, the only thing I wouldn't get is the fish balls because it's dace with dill and the texture isn't that great. They have this fried fish skin dish that's so addicting to eat. It's a Chinese (HK) place so don't expect service to be any good and they're super weird about you doing substitutions and stuff even though their reasoning for denying you makes no sense so don't even bother. Their chili oil is one of the best and it'll kick you right in the face if you're not prepared. We used to eat for under $5 a person but now if you want the 3 topping, it'll run you about $15/bowl after everything. Still worth the money imo.

Hands down the best wonton noodles in Mississauga and possibly GTA. No one is trying to reinvent the wheel but they have definitely perfected their craft. High level is consistently maintained over the many years of patronage. Noodles are always al dente and dumplings are always big and plump. Broth is always light and flavorful. Decor is what it is but always clean. Service is always very fast and friendly. As a bonus, best Cantonese style hot chili oil in GTA. Use with caution with copious amounts of vinegar. Also never forget the order a plate of 炸魚皮 (deep fried fish skin)! Again, arguably the best in the gta. It's nice to have something light and crispy to go with the hot comforting noodles and plump juicy dumplings Always a fabulous experience when coming to eat. Been a while since we came because the schedules don't always line up but wow was that good! REFERENCE STANDARD wonton noodles without rival and if I'm not mistaken, their portions are even bigger than I remember! Really really satisfied! 😋
