My first time trying Hakka food, and I'm definitely a fan! I really appreciated the attentive service and local business feel that Wok of Hakka offered. As a first timer, I asked for a recommendation and was obviously recommended the Chili Chicken. I was able to get this as part of the lunch special ($11). The lunch special itself is a great deal. It comes with a vegetarian spring roll, soup of the day, entree, and white rice. I was contemplating upgrading the rice to fried rice, but I'm glad I stuck with the white rice to get the full flavour of the chili chicken. I really enjoyed the crispiness of the chicken and how it wasn't overshone by the sauce. I felt like the sauce could have a BIT more flavour - but it was still enjoyable. I also have never had it before, so wasn't sure what the taste should have been. I actually think my favourite thing was the soup of the day, which was a chicken corn soup and very delicious! Overall, our meal for two was under $25 and extremely filling. Very happy with it.

DEEEEELICIOUSSSS!! I’ve been trying to find a place that serves delicious chili chicken in Vaughan so I don’t have to drive downtown! This exceeded my expectations. Went back tonight and ordered more, dragged my cousin along and she loved it too!

I recently had lunch here, I got the chili beef lunch special. The dish was incredibly flavorful and served hot, just the way I like it. The meal was satisfying and well-prepared, making it a standout choice for a lunchtime visit. The overall experience was positive, and the food was the highlight. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal.

i was expecting the food to be great due to all the reviews but when i walked in the atmosphere wasn’t great and the waitress looked like she didn’t wanna serve us. Made us wanna walk out but we didn’t wanna be rude so we sat down and ordered our food thinking at least that might be good but no the food was so bad. Everything we ordered had a very bad after taste everything was bitter and the chicken was raw and we had to send back one of the rices we ordered and the water tasted disgusting . When it came to customer service i would give a 0 rating if i could. The server would just slide the food on the end of the table and she was walking around in open toe slippers, pretty sure that’s a health code violation and on top of that when we were ordering food she was being extremely rude. LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT AND U COULD FALL ILL

Amazingly tasteful Hakka I have had today. Sunday lunch special : Manchurian chicken with plain rice, accompanied by a bowl of simmering Sweet corn chicken soup and a spring roll. All tasted very freshly made which is a must for good Hakka Food. All for 10.99 was worth every penny.

Absolutely incredible value especially the lunch special which is served until 4pm. For $10.99 plus tax you get a choice of meat, rice, can of pop or daily soup plus a spring roll. Nowhere else these days has such a deal with so much flavor! I got the chilli chicken dry (you can get dry or with gravy) and it was incredible- full of rich hakka spices, made fresh to order with a generous portion of tender fresh meat. The meal was enough for lunch and dinner. 10/10 recommend

No frills delicious hakka food. Bombay chicken dry and garlic chicken gravy both were fantastic and paired well with Manchurian spicy fried rice. Chicken lollipop appetizer was also very good. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Will revisit.

Ordered for the first time today. They are fairly new in the area I think. Food did not disappoint! We ordered the Bombay chicken, crispy beef (really good), eggplant (also good) and Singapore rice noodles. It is nice to have a halal Hakka restaurant in Woodbridge. Will definitely go again and try other dishes. Hopefully the quality of food will be consistent and not deteriorate as time goes by. But for now, definitely good. PS. They can’t really make Thai food so I would give the Thai curries a pass.
