I give you guys 5 stars because I love the food. When I order pepper fried wings on a Friday evening I expect to eat freshly fried chicken wings. Please don't give me old fried wings again. I buy food here a lot cause the food is good. Thank you.

Today took my sister and mom there for a meal and it was most disastrous & disappointing experience. The waitress didn’t show up for 10min. Then it took another 10 min to get menus. Asked for water but she disappeared. Didn’t serve any water or cutlery til after the food arrived. Had to ask for water twice, then for hot sauce twice and for take out container three times. She disappeared for long periods and there was no else around, only one other server at the bar. Thought things couldn’t get worse. But then she came over and rushed us to pay before we had a chance to finish. And while we were packing the take home package she came rushing back trying to clear the plates and knocked over an entire bowl of soup over my mom’s white dress and spilled some on mine!!!! Waitress briefly mumbles an apology and says she will pack another soup. No mention on my mom’s ruined dress or the mess she created. My mom was so upset she got up and left to the car. I realized this waitress has never worked in the service industry before so I went to the lady at the bar hoping she can compensate for my mom’s dry cleaning or at least discount the bill. BUT her only response was oh her dress got soup on it? Would you like a club soda for that?!!! The server returned with a new soup and said here you go this will make up for it. SERIOUSLY how are you running your business??? and what kind of wretched customer service is this??? This will be my last visit to this establishment. If you can’t respect your customers or have trained servers then you don’t deserve my business. If you are planning to go there ask for another server than the Sharon on the bill!

Love Windies special fried rice with chicken, It’s always nice and hot and fresh! Their mixed veggies is just as good! Highly recommend! I recently tried their pineapple fried rice; it was okay. I liked the sweetness from the pineapple but not so much the mix of all the meats.

The food is amazing, large portion, tasty and fresh. Big ups to Shaki (rip), she makes the most amazing drinks. I would go there just for those drinks that she makes. And such a sweet soul. I will have to make a trip soon. But I won’t get my delicious Shaki drinks. I live in the west and I’d definitely travel to get some of their fried rice so. I do recommend this restaurant. They have lots of seating and good music as well.

If you're wanting Guyanese-style food look no further. Whether it's the chow mein or bangamary, the food is always on point. It's a stop a make every time I visit Toronto.

{Visited - Thursday, Feb 23/17 at 7:30PM} First time at Windies upon recommendation from my friend. Also my first time going a West Indian Restaurant. Rather than choosing something from the menu we both had the Windies Special - Beef. Chicken. Shrimp. and Fried Chicken on top of Rice. For $11.00 the portion was more than worth it! Apparently the chicken wings are really good so I have to come back and try those :P Overall good experience :)
