Wimpy's Diner

The Nashville chicken sandwich and fried pickles was delicious. The restaurant offers a generous portions at a good prices. Our server Nantha was amazing and helpful making sure everything was perfect. Wimpy’s is a cozy spot for families or anyone craving a traditional diner experience.

My husband and I came here for breakfast after dropping our daughter off to daycare. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibe of the place, takes you back to the 90s! Classic diner style! nostalgic! Food was amazing and service was 10/10! Joan was our server and she came around several times to ensure our coffee and water was topped up and if everything was good with our food! Absolutely loved the place ! We will definitely be going back! It’s gonna be our little go to breakfast diner 😊

I visited wimpys diner for the first time and i loved the service provided by Joan. She was very helpful and always kept an eye out if anyone needed anything and very welcoming. Loved the ambiance and the sitting area. I dont know how they managed to accommodate all the seating area with the perfect view. Overall loved everything the food too.

Last week I celebrated my daughter’s 6th birthday here at this Wimpy’s location and it was amazing. I can only say great things about our experience. The moment you walk in you get greeted, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food was so delicious. Even the cooks greeted us! Our guests, and myself were so happy with the service. My daughter loved her birthday waffle. More than 5 stars for sure.

Celebrated my grandaughter's 6th birthday We were a table of 20. They allowed us to decorate and Celebrate her in a special way.. Food and service was fantastic . I ordered the chicken parmesan and hubby chicken souvlaki the serving size were very generous not to mention the food was delicious. Thanks to our lovely waitress Angelina.

Came to Wimpy's Diner (Hurontario location) Saturday morning with my 2-year old (who was sleeping at the time). Upon my arrival, I was directed to seat myself, which I did. I grabbed a menu, and began looking through the items. I decided to order the Southwest Benedict for myself, and proceeded to look for the kids section in the menu. After waiting about 20 minutes, the server (older Caucasian woman) approached my table and asked what I wanted to order. I asked her if there was a kid's menu. She told me, "Yes, but you can't order from it." She walked away from my table, and then came back with the menu. I asked her, why I wasn't allowed to order something from the kid's menu. She replied that adults are not allowed to order items from the kid's menu. I clarified that I was ordering something separate for myself from the regular menu and needed to get something for my son. I was a bit annoyed that she assumed I was going to try to order my meal from the kid's menu. I ordered a coffee to drink and continued waiting. After waiting an additional 10 minutes without my order being taken or receiving my coffee, I decided that I no longer wanted to eat here, and walked out. The prices, food choices, and reviews of this place were very good, and I was excited to eat here. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service trumped that and I will not be coming back here.

Fantastic service , food and great prices. My only concern is that there is no privacy divider between some of the booths. It almost feels like you're sitting with the table next to you. We asked our server if we could move and were accommodated. Also, the menu could use a tweak. Some of the pictures of the items are nowhere near the description of the item. All that being said we had a lovely breakfast and will definitely come back. Oh, and the servers were awesome in always ensuring that our coffee cups were full. ♥️♥️

Best all day breakfast. Wholesome, quick, fantastic food and service. Love love love the Eggs Benedict and fluffy Pancakes. Quick hot coffee refills and endless cream and milk. A favorite weekend go to when craving for a good hearty breakfast.
