Wimpy's Diner

A little while back, I took my two beautiful children two Wimpy’s diner in the morning for some breakfast. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a girl in the kitchen with dark black hair and pale skin, giving me the dirtiest look I’ve ever received in my life. As the time went on, my waitress came to the table didn’t even greet herself. Just asked “what do we want” followed by her and the same girl in the kitchen, talking and laughing and staring at me and my kids. It was the most disgusting dining in experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. my kids are mixed and they were racist. Do not go to Wimpy’s diner any location in Barrie and Vaughan in Toronto just don’t go. absolutely disgusting.

Best wimpys location in Barrie! The food is always amazing, cooked to perfection every time! Staff and service 10/10. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Very clean restaurant. I really enjoy the consistency at this location, good service is very hard to come by these days, but they kill it every time! Would highly recommend this location!

Needed a place to eat after the Santa Claus parade chaos ! 3 adults and 4 kids Opened the door to a busy restaurant at6:15pm with the staff looking exhausted. I didn’t expect a great experience to be honest … but let me tell you I was wrong We ended up taking 2 Booths, our server was amazing, so pleasant. Food was really good (came so fast) I got the famous burger and it was way bigger than the menu showed. Very reasonable for 7 meals as well Was a great diner experience for all Oh get the waffle fries !

I pick up deliveries here all the time.. probably at least 50 times to be honest as Ive been doing deliveries in Barrie fullltime for the past 3 years and every single time I come into this establishment they treat and talk to me like a second class citizen. I’ve never felt the need to review them but this time, I was absolutely compelled to because the level of respect with the customer service is disgusting. I came in and a young woman approached me with a blank face and simply said “What are you here for?..” Like seriously? That’s how you interact with people? What’s the excuse? I’m a delivery person so I’m exempt from receiving at least sub par customer service? Let me remind you, delivery people are picking up orders on the customers BEHALF so you should be treating delivery people just as you would treat your patrons that come in and have a seat in your restaurant! And also, I’m a person as well and I have a family and we are potential customers as well but now I don’t think we will ever come and give this place our business with what I’ve witnessed.

Excellent breakfast, sausage and bacon tasted great! Pancakes were fluffy, service was great! Can’t wait to try other things on the menu

This place nails it. From music to food quality to service and attentiveness. Most places that serve breakfast come with a compromise… not this one. Enjoyed the pancakes, syrup, bacon, sausage as well as the greasy home fries. Too much to finish. I tried. Thanks guys!

Had a fantastic dinner with my family here. Great service and wonderful diner food. My kids gave this place an 11/10. We'll be back!
