This is hands down the best Filipino restaurant in Canada. No contest! Every single dish is a hit, from the classics to their unique twists. Flavors are authentic, portions are generous, and you can taste the love in every bite. If you’re in Toronto and haven’t tried this yet, you’re seriously missing out. It’s the kind of place where you keep coming back because everything on the menu is just that good. 10/10 recommend! Message from a very satisfied Swiss visitor 🇨🇭🇵🇭

I recently ordered barbecue, sisig, and lechon paksiw from Wilson’s Lechon House, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall. • Barbecue: This was the only redeeming item in my order. The flavor was good, but it wasn’t enough to save the rest of the meal. • Sisig: This dish didn’t taste like sisig at all. It was overly sticky, and the addition of ginger was unexpected and off-putting. • Lechon Paksiw: The lechon paksiw was bland, tasting mostly like watered-down vinegar with a faint hint of Mang Tomas sauce. • Rice: The rice was burnt and hard, making it nearly inedible. For a restaurant that specializes in Filipino dishes, I would not recommend this place.

I tried them out through the Too Good to Go app (large mystery bag) and I'm very happy with what I received. Delicious! I am new to Filipino food and I think this is a great introduction.

Lechon cravings satisfies here. But it’s not a guarantee you get the crispiest even if you come the earliest when they open in the morning. I wish there are better pairings for their lechon combo meals other than spring rolls or monggo.

Actually the restaurant we went to was in Scarborough but it’s not listed yet although it’s the same name and same owner. This is my review for them. This place is clean, well lighted and decor is simple but nice. We were welcomed by the staff as soon as we got in and seated right away. We had the buffet breakfast. I was visiting from Vancouver and was craving for Filipino dishes. They had every thing from fried rice to arros caldo to samporado. They had longanisa and my favorite dried fish which I haven’t had for 40 years. All in all we enjoyed Wilson’s. One place I added to “My Must Visit” for next time. We highly recommend Wilson’s Haus of Lechon. It’s a 10/10 for us.

Food is good. However, price wise it way too pricey. I really don’t think prices should be way up that high. It’s almost price gouging. I wouldn’t pay that much just for a lechon. I am certain they are aware of it. They just take advantage cause they know people still pay for what they ask. Just take a look on the photo below. Do you think this is priced accordingly?

Just got their pork BBQ again today and I’m so very disappointed. The pork is burnt and too dry, very hard to chew and the taste is not even close to being a barbecue anymore. I used to love it coz it before, so tasty, lots of meat and only cost me $4.99. Now, its almost $7.00 per order and seems like their selling most of the leftover from couple of days ago. What is happening Wilson House of Lechon?

You will see a variety of grilled/barbecue dishes and, of course, the roster pig (Lechon) in the menu. We had dinner at almost 8 pm, so there was no wait, and we found a table right away. After we ordered and paid, we were asked to wait at our table, they brought our order to our table. We had the lechon and inasal Combo plus an order of garlic rice. Being a Cebuano, I was looking forward to a taste of home, and the lechon did not disappoint. The chicken inasal was a little dry but flavourful. This place is good for lunch and dinner. You can also order take-out at this place.
