Wildfire Steakhouse Oshawa

The ambiance was good. We went to have steak. Ordered the New York Striploin with garlic mashed potatoes. Ordered a Greek salad appetizer. The salad had a unique presentation and a smoky flavor. The smokiness was pleasant. However, the salad no longer felt "Greek". The steak came with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak doneness was perfect. However, everything, starting from the salad to steak to vegetables to the mashed potatoes tasted like they are one dish - one flavor profile. It felt as if the chef was trying to create a signature flavor, but went overboard and made everything taste the same. I am not planning on going back for another taste.

Wildfire is wonderful steakhouse. Laid-back with a touch of class. Colleen was my server and she was perfect. She checked in without being intrusive and everything timed correctly for the price fixed fare menu that I had ordered.

Decided to try Wildfire after years. It was worth the change from the usual. Service was great, food was cooked excellent, can ask for much more. Will be coming back again.

We wanted to try this steakhouse so we did. Have to say we were a bit disappointed after hearing great things. Ordered 2 charred Cesar salads they were amazing no complaints! Our mains were a mess. I ordered fillet mignon well done, garlic mash and seasonal veg, my partner ordered rib eye steak medium, twice baked mash, seasonal veg and a lobster tail. When the salads came, I was also served garlic bread ( we did not order this). When our mains came the seasonal veg that we asked about before hand was changed, my partners and my steaks were not cooked to our liking, the steaks were very fatty, no bacon on the fillet mignon, my partner received the wrong choice of side. It was a mess to say the least. I am not one to send back food unless it’s a complete mess up it was still editable so we ate it and had the potato corrected for my partner. I lucked out got more garlic mash. We were also charged for the garlic bread which we ate so we paid for even though we never ordered it. The server was good tried hard but was the only server for the whole restaurant that night.

The service and atmosphere was great. The steaks were not seasoned enough. Salt and pepper needed to be added. But otherwise, they were cooked perfectly. The beet salad was exceptional. I highly recommend getting the beet salad.

I recently dined at Wildfire Steakhouse in Oshawa and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, with a great selection of steak and other dishes that really hit the mark. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice date—warm, inviting lighting set a romantic and cozy mood. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it worth it. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a special meal in a great setting, Wildfire Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit.

Had an excellent date night with my hubby. Steaks were both cooked exactly as requested and were so tender. Garlic mashed potatoes were amazing as well as the grilled vegetables and mushrooms. Kudos to our server Jamie who was very friendly and efficient considering how busy it was there tonight. Too full for dessert.

Had an amazing experience here celebrating two birthdays. The food and drinks were prompt and delicious. Our server Todd went above and beyond for our table, gave us dinner and entertainment all in one! We brought our own cake to celebrate the birthdays but our server still made sure we received our free desserts by packing it to go for us which was very kind of him. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and amazing service. We will definitely be back!!
