It’s fine. The acclaim is lost on me - the food is decent and the space is unremarkable - the Bib Gourmand will have you trying to rationalize otherwise. I would be indifferent if the front of house didn’t clearly begrudge curious passersby that walk in, inquiring about available seating. The palpable frustration and disdain of the staff, witnessed firsthand while sitting at the booth next to the entrance, is entirely the product of White Lily’s waitlist process. The hasbrowns were the standout. Daily donut was OK, too.

Ordered the all-day breakfast (one with mushrooms, the other with bacon) and a side of one buttermilk griddle cake. Can’t say enough about the hash browns - it was perfectly executed; crispy on the outside without being greasy at all. Everything else on the plate was delicious with the exception of the griddle cake (parts were undercooked where I tasted the batter).

Small cozy brunch located conveniently close to the dvp. It may be difficult for them to accommodate larger parties(6+) people as majority of their seating are booths with 5 seats at the bar. It's also very busy as the wait time was about 1.5 hours but luckily bar seating was available. As far as the food, the sausage was delicious. The sausage itself is very chewy in texture and the meat has some seasoning. The cooks were on point with how they cook their eggs. I ordered over medium eggs and they were cooked exactly as it should be : the yolk was not runny and not fully cooked. The scrambled eggs were fluffy as well. It is extremely rare for a brunch place to cook their eggs this well. Their cooking and food is most likely why they are Michelin recommended.

Waitlist for a weekday lunch but luckily we checked online first. We were very impressed by the portion sizes and quality of the food. The biscuits were buttery and the sausage gravy was rich and abundant with meat. The kale caesar salad was perfectly dressed and well presented like everything else. Along with the sausage, I had enough for at least two meals and had to take some to go! It's definitely on the pricier side but you're paying for a good meal with high quality food, not just a typical diner.

We visited this diner at 6 pm on a Sunday and it was fairly empty with no waiting list even though it got busy pretty quick thereafter. The service was swift, they were kind enough to replace my order last min. We had a meat loaf dinner and it was tasty. The pimiento cheese dip with sourdough was delicious and so was the hash brown. The beet salad was ok (the beets tasted way too sour). Overall I would recommend for a weekend brunch

Pretty great spot. They don't have the more brunch y option like French toast and benedicts but they have some interesting offerings. The pancakes were the best thing we had here. The other orders were also very nice. Everything was fresh and high quality. They don't have espresso based drinks. The donut was also very good and fresh. It is quite busy and you need to sign up on the online waitlist but it's fairly convenient. I was assigned 8th at 9:15 and was seated at 10:30.

Listen, this place is crazy good. I’m not going to say much because there is nothing really to say. Service is great, very chill and welcoming. Food… I mean, look at the photos. They balance acid with hearty flavours and it messed me up good. This is the spot for elevated diner food. It’s like the gravy was giving me a hug, I swear to god. Atmosphere, it’s a diner, and it looks like one. So it’s great! Location honestly isn’t the best. This area of queen feels like a wasteland. Although if you’re getting an oil change on your Porsche ( I’m not) this could be a stop along the way!? Will be back to try the donuts! Thanks folks, Honest F

Everything I’ve tried here is great. One of the best breakfast in the city, dinner options are good as well. Expect a bit of a wait especially on weekends but usually faster than they say it will be.
