Amazing food, atmosphere and design. Tried the tacos and the arepa so far and absolutely love it. The industrial design is gorgeous with some modern twists. Great food hall. Definitely worth going when in town. Was not busy at all around lunch.

It's not bad, I think just expectation/reality balance is off. Because it might seem like a very good place to go hangout with friends, since there are different cuisines. But in fact, the area is small, there's only about 10 places and you don't really have a lot of choice. Restaurants presented there are not unique, and you can just go in Downton in that specific restaurant. A bit overpriced for the quality of food you are getting. Same with cocktails in the bar on top. Infused jelly was fun, but I will not be coming there only because of it. Summary: - Not a lot of restaurants, you will have 1 per popular cuisine and only 2 bars, however the one on the first floor doesn't even have cocktails with egg white in their menu. - Place itself is not big - Overpriced - Not really built for live music, but they have it there - Quality of food could be better - Atmosphere is fine - Location is fine

This was my first time visiting Waterworks Food Hall and I was craving a smoked beef sandwich. I did a couple loops before deciding to order from Dave's. Honestly I hadn't looked at the prices, but was shocked to find out the cheapest sandwich was $13 and the others were over $20. I ordered the smoked meat sandwich and a diet coke and it was $18. I know things are more expensive downtown, but this feels like a robbery for what I got. The sandwich was so small!! Not even toasted. The meat in question was mostly good, however about 30% of it was fat. Honestly so disappointed and will not be returning. Toronto has so many wonderful options for lunch, this was a huge miss.

Loved the atmosphere of this place! A great place to grab some good food with your friends, with a lot of seating options. They have a lot of places to sit inside, as well as an outdoor/indoor courtyard to sit and enjoy the food. The ambiance is great, the music isn’t too loud, and they have alot of food options to choose from! There were also a lot of different halal options which was great! Loved how there was a variety of different cuisines from around the world.

Great spot to grab a bite downtown Toronto. Waterworks is a high end food court. You have a good number of options and they all look great. We had the pizza and the burger followed by some ice cream. Another thing I really like about Waterworks is that you can have a beer or cocktail with your food. Great new concept hope hope to see more of these in the city.

Great ambiance. Only tried a couple places so far; mid level overpriced food, but I enjoy walking through here so I’ll try different places each time I visit. Wide selection of restaurants. I like the crowd here, young and lively. The workers from all the restaurants came off as very cheerful and pleasant. There’s a decent park outside as well, and it’s a close walk to Queen St W, graffiti alley.

So happy that this Food Hall was put up and created a great place for all of us to try different restaurants or food eateries without having to travel far. It is a food hall that is clean, beautiful and modern. It is spacious with enough seating. The variety of eateries is good - a little of everything. There are vacant stations for future rotating Chefs and I think this is an excellent idea, both to give starting chefs a hand in getting their name out and for the public to try different chef’s dishes without having to commit to going to a restaurant and eating a full course. This food hall for me is better than the one at Assembly Hall (in previous years) which I thought was tight and a little messy. It also looks more upscale, not as chaotic as The Well’s market (food hall) although The Well has more vendors. The staff who clean and go around also act as drinks servers as you can order drinks from them and they would bring it to you. So far, all 4 of them have been kind, friendly and not obstructive. Perfect team!

We’ve been eagerly waiting for the Waterworks Food Hall to open, and it did not disappoint! We visited on a Saturday afternoon around 6 PM, and it was bustling with people eager to check it out. The vibe was fantastic—young, hip, and lively. The variety of food stalls is impressive, offering Thai, Italian, oysters, Aburi Sushi, Indian food, and a bar. We loved the decor and the use of materials throughout the space. There’s plenty of seating inside the food hall and in the surrounding areas outside, making it a great place to hang out. We were able to sample some of the foods and had a wonderful time. There’s also event space upstairs for parties, and convenient parking downstairs. One area for improvement is the washrooms, which are located downstairs and are communal. The dark color scheme makes them look dirty, especially with visible watermarks and stains on the black toilets. Despite this, the Waterworks Food Hall is a fantastic spot for a casual hangout or a date. I highly recommend everyone in the area come check it out.
