V's Schnitzel House

Called ahead and the food was ready in no time, neatly packed, nice and warm. Recommend the Diablo sandwich: perfectly spicy, not too hot. Sandwiches are a good size, not too big. Fried potato side is unreal! Ask about the daily soup: all homemade, perfect European-style chicken soup! No pictures because my co-workers and I ate our food too fast! A+

I felt like a pork schnitzel today, so i knew I had to try V's Schnitzel House in Etobicoke. It was delicious, and you can tell it was made with love ❤️ I got the 'V's Slovak Feast', which includes a huge pork schnitzel, seasoned potatoes, salad with lots of veggies, breaded mushrooms, and breaded cheese. The schnitzel was thin, crispy, golden brown, and delicious! Just the way you want a schnitzel to be! It was really good! 👌 The breaded cheese 🧀 and breaded mushrooms🍄 is something I haven't tried before, and it didn't disappoint. Look at the pics. It was deep fried and ooy-gooy delicious! The potatoes were seasoned and crispy and tasted really good. The salad was fresh, and had lots of vegetables with a great dressing. I highly recommend trying this place. I met the owner and she was very nice and friendly! The interior has a warm, welcoming feel. Big windows. Comfortable seats and big tables. The washrooms were also clean. Free parking in the back. 5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 all around!

Holy Schnitzel Batman!!! Came for lunch with my husband and we were both blown away with the quality of the food. I had the chicken schnitzel and my husband had the pork schnitzel and they were both excellent. Crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The salad and potatoes were delicious as well. The young man that served us was very polite and friendly. Will definitely be coming back again. Totally worth the drive to Etobicoke.😁😁😁

When I googled for schnitzel, one of the places that had the highest ratings was right here, so I decided to give it a try. I must say that I am a professional schnitzel eater. This schnitzel was fried well and was quite crispy, but strangely, the chicken in the middle was so thin that you feel it was cutting corners. I think I can find better schnitzel in town

Thank you for hosting Valentine’s day meal with your dog!! We had an amazing time with our furbaby enjoying delicious food and mingling with other pups. The server was nice and attentive as well. Overall, a five star experience!

Good food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant is obviously older and not modern, but that doesn’t impact the taste of the food. The chicken schnitzel and vi’s potatoes were both excellent. My husband had pirogies and they quite literally melted in your mouth.

Came here last week after picking my offspring from the island airport, as it's only a short drive away. Very friendly and helpful staff which quickly helped us choose our meal. Salad with dill dressing .... deelish! Schnitzels were perfectly prepared, and when paired with their potatoes and dill sauce ... amazing. All leftovers were brought home and enjoyed later We'll definitely be back ... can't pass up such a great meal.

If you like slow service and screaming kids running around, this place might be for you! The staff were slightly friendly and the menus are very nice; filling me with anticipation! Unfortunately this would fade along with the hope of a good meal when the appetizer finally made an appearance after a good long wait. The fried cheese is huge which would appear to be a good thing until you realize it is quite bland and boring! After a while of surveying the screaming kids run around, and watching take-out people come-and-go, the main course was served, it appears take-out steals precedence over peeps that are sticking around. The schnitzel feast, like the cheese was huge and boring. Finally a bit more waiting to get the bill and our 1 hour extravaganza was over. In fairness they were a bit busy (there was one other large table), and I don't mind waiting for good food. Sadly this was not good food... In Response to the "Response from the owner" Finally got to around to responding after 6 years!! This seem in keeping with the theme of the place. Slow!
