It's one of the best take-out sushi restaurants in North York. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the salmon maki(roll) melted in my mouth. The fish on the sushi was not small and the rice was well cooked, marinated and just the right amount. The maki was big not because of the rice but because of the stuffing, which means they are not stingy with the ingredients.

Huge portions w so many varieties in party tray 😍 I always get party trays here for family parties. Price & quality really stands out from other sushi restaurants in North York. Their medium size party tray is like large size in other places. And I love how they toss in other special ingredients for garnishes -like fresh squid roll. Highly highly recommended! +my personal wish: pls add uni or sake don in menu 🙏 I would legit takeout lunch here just for those haha

Their sushi platter is truly delicious! We enjoyed it so much. Just wanna suggest for them to update their prices online. It is deceiving because what you see there is different from what the actual price is. They claimed it wasn’t updated but we’ve been ordering for almost a year now and then and in that timeframe they never updated it🙈

Ordered takeout from them for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the value! We got the small party tray, everything was so fresh and there was definitely bang for your buck. Highly recommend and will definitely order from them again.

Used to be great value and taste circa 2017. Now it’s heavily overpriced. Barely any fish in the rolls. I had 3 slices of salmon on my roll lol. They make the rolls look “big” by stuffing it with panko and cucumber and it costs extra for spicy mayo. $19 a roll that’s all veges and panko is a scam.

Awesome!!! 👏🏼 My review is based on my first experience today. I happened to walk by and decided last minute to order the Black Dragon Roll. In one of my previous reviews, I ordered the same item at Sushi One and dined in. That was a mediocre experience. Today’s Black Dragon Roll here was ginormous, fresh, had a really good taste and the unagi (eel) tasted so much better here. I waited around 10-15 minutes only for my one item order. This place has no seating - takeout or delivery only. Highly recommend. The photos speak for themselves!!! The price is the same as Sushi One. I would therefore rather eat from VIPS Sushi.

This North York sushi spot is known for its large rolls, and the menu contains a good selection of appetizers and side dishes as well. The chipotle sauce is a nice complement to the soy sauce, and the rolls are nicely flavoured without being overpowering in taste. Great for takeout and service is generally quick - definitely worth checking out for your next sushi fix!
