The food is undeniably delicious—every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail were clear. However, I found the portions to be quite small for the price. While I appreciate the emphasis on quality over quantity, it left us feeling like we didn’t quite get the value we were hoping for. If you’re looking for a place with gourmet flavors and aren’t too concerned about portion size, this is a great spot. But if you’re hungry and expecting a hearty meal, you might leave wanting a bit more.

We were a party of two who had lunch at this restaurant. We placed our order by phone in advance to have it ready during our lunch break, and it was perfectly timed—ready as soon as we arrived. We ordered Persian Beryani, which was absolutely delicious and served in generous portions. The staff was warm and friendly, and the ambiance was enhanced by great music. We truly enjoyed our time there!

We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Village Kabab and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant had a cozy, authentic feel, with beautiful Persian décor and a comfortable layout that made it perfect for a family celebration. Now, let’s talk about the food—it was simply phenomenal. Every dish we ordered was packed with rich, authentic flavors. The kebabs were perfectly grilled, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, The rice, topped with saffron and crispy tahdig, was a standout on its own. We also tried a few appetizers, like the creamy hummus and fresh Shirazi salad, which were equally delicious. The portions were incredibly generous, and we found ourselves happily packing up leftovers to enjoy the next day. The service was another highlight of the evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially given the quality and quantity of food we received. It’s rare to find a restaurant where you get such excellent value for money. We felt like we got much more than what we paid for, both in terms of the food and the experience. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Village Kabab enough. Whether you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just want to enjoy an amazing Persian meal, this spot delivers on all fronts. We’re already planning our next visit!

If you visit Elgin Mills - Richmond Hill get your lunch or di ner from this shop. Lamb Shank that I ordered was good enough for 2 people. Portion was so good. FRESH AND DELICIOUS. FLAVOR WAS AWESOME 👌. Don't take my word, just go there and make your order today.

I ordered Beryan here and it exceeded in my expectations. The sides were in good portion too. Suggestion to the restaurant: Add Persian basil as a side and elevate your food to next level.

Great value for the quality of food. Food was excellent & portion was very generous. My first time having torsh koobideh and I love it. Their dishes is also served with a small side of yogurt which I loved. The kashke baademjoon was also delicious. The service was excellent and quick. Definitely recommend.

It’s a nice and cozy Persian restaurant with a couple of tables that you can dine in or you can order takeout. Their menu includes different variety of kebabs, dizi, Biryan, kebab platters and appetizers. We ordered BBQ Platter #4 and a Soltani Kebab. The presentation is very nice; they arrived in a nice copper platter with salad and grilled vegetables. The taste was okay, but the grilled vegetables were burnt. Even the kebabs were burnt in some parts and that’s because they don’t use a charcoal bbq. The portion of kebabs were smaller than usual; specifically, Koobideh Kebab was very thin, considering their prices are equal and in some cases higher than other Persian restaurants. The staff are friendly and listen med to our feedback.
