Not quite the same as it used to be. The genius chicken sandwich with salad was very tasty. Prices have increased since last visit unfortunately but that seems to be life these days. Would not recommend sitting by the window the overhead fans seem to increase the cold draft. Our server left a lot to be desired. Started off by bringing the wrong type of beer that was ordered. Our food was brought to the table with no cutlery. We had clearly indicated we would be sharing the menu item. Apparently this information was no shared with the kitchen. We had to wait for an additional plate along with cutlery for both of us. Despite that ...we gave the person a 15% tip at which a "face" was made. Suggestion if you want more of a tip for service rendered please make an effort to provide the service you were asked for.

We only had an appetizer, but it was delicious. Beer was fresh and cold. Service was friendly and efficient without being obtrusive. Best of all was the atmosphere, which is laid back and unassuming yet quite charming without any frills. A great watering hole in the heart of the city.

Oh what stories to be told. The atmosphere was not too dissimilar to a warm sunset that is forgiving to the casual alcoholic. While we only had drinks, those drinks were friendly and inviting. This place felt like an old friend that you hadn't seen in years only to notice that it feels like not a moment has passed since you've last seen each other. This is poetry in motion; a tall tale with a tall beer.

Im glad for having Ilona as my server, she’s really nice, sweet and can’t complain of her customer service but just to praise her talent. First time of Raviola pasta and ill give a big thumbs up for that. I’ll be back again for sure in this restaurant. Happy thanksgiving and shoutout to ILONA!!!

Rei was an amazing server. The bartender gave weird vibes. My potatoes were definitely old and reheated. Steak was okay. My friend’s chicken wings were gross and her fries tasted old.

Fantastic pub! I seen this establishment from across the street, decided to wander in for a beer, best decision all day, so nice to have a beer in the breeze at the bar, roll up windows let in a wonderful breeze. So many fantastic beers on tap, great stocked spirits, great staff. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life hands down no comparison. Washed it down with a Kilkenny. Highly recommend visiting here.

We walked in for a late lunch and were happy with the ambiance of this restaurant. However, food was mediocre and disappointing. The Shepherd's Pie looked soggy, and the ravioli with rose flavor looked as if the milk had curdled. The fries were way too salty, and we had to send them back. The server was gracious enough to get another plate with less salt. The apple crumble looked suspicious but surprisingly was tasty! A meal at this price was not worth it.

Best fried calamari I’ve had, even better than a few of the fine dining places I’ve been to lately, this pub knows how to cook their calamari to perfection. It was tender and served hot. Seasoning was just right. They have a Nash chicken sandwich that uses 2 pcs of battered chicken with cheese and bacon (schnitzel) as buns, no bun needed if you’re in a keto diet or avoiding bread! And then served with a side of salad. Plentiful. $21. The soup of the day was a tomato vegetable soup which was quite good, the tomatoes were roasted. There were more than enough vegetables in the soup to make it heart. Flavour was on point. They have a good beer menu as well. Service was excellent, attentive, friendly and professional. I had been wanting to try this pub for the last 2 decades and never did for whatever reason but, I’m glad that I finally did get to try it. The food is better than I expected. I will return.
