This is probably one of the worst “fine dining” service and food I have ever sat in for. Here are some GREAT highlights of my experience: -The employees were yelling at each other the entire time behind us at the counter. -The waiter gave us water and did not ask if we have been there our first time, how are you, nothing. He just asked us “what do you want to order?” As our first interaction. Not sure if this man knew anything. -Brought our Americano and espresso to the wrong table. Proceeded to give Oro Caffe coffe which tasted horrible. It had a lot of sediment in it. -Food was mediocre and they asked us only after almost finishing our meal if everything was okay. The pecans were gross and mushy and the sesame on the brioche tasted disgusting with the meal. To top it all off, the apples were sour. I expected more for $25.00 than 2 pieces of Costco bread made into French toast and a few pieces of toppings on it. The waiter just said “oh let me tell the kitchen” and never came back…???? -Ambience and decor was nasty. The chairs had your butt sunken into it. The walls were plastered in dirty mirrors which made it look like a Chinese restaurant. -The employees cleaning the table use the same tablecloth for every service and slam the chairs into the table when cleaning. They wipe the crumbs onto the floor and walk off as if they accomplished so much. Overall, this place is a disaster. I would never recommend anyone to spend money in this horrible cafe that had an amazing lobby. I just hope the rooms in the hotel were better quality than this. What a total waste of my time and money.

We came here for Afternoon Tea - we had a lovely time. I enjoyed the signature tea blend and all the sandwiches and deserts off the Autumn Menu. I appreciated the complimentary champagne 🍾 and apple cidar to celebrate our marriage.

My mother and I were very much looking forward to the high tea as part of a quick trip to Toronto. The hotel itself is quite lovely, as for the tea, truly wonderful potential but poor execution. Tea Sandwich bread was air-stale, no real wows of deliciousness. Pastries and sweets were oversweet and imbalanced, cakes were dry. Service was surprisingly poor for the price and luxury promise of the hotel, no cold water refills, weird confusion in asking for another pot of tea, had to repeatedly flag down to get any service. No music or real ambiance in the room. Would have happily paid $40 per person for this experience, not worth $90-100 per person.

During our memorable stay at the Omni hotel a few months ago, the highlight was undoubtedly the delightful evening spent at the Vicotra Cafe. The combination of great company and a fantastic dinner made our experience truly special. Opting for the Salmon entree, we were treated to a culinary masterpiece that left our taste buds singing with delight until the very last bite. The dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's skill in balancing flavors and textures. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident, making it a standout choice. Adding to the enjoyment of our evening was our server, who went beyond the call of duty to provide not just impeccable service but also entertainment. Their engaging and lively personality kept us laughing throughout the night, elevating the overall dining experience. In essence, our visit to the Vicotra Cafe at the Omni hotel was a symphony of culinary excellence, delightful ambiance, and exceptional service. It left an indelible mark on our stay, making it a cherished memory. We look forward to returning and relishing the impeccable hospitality that defines the Omni hotel experience.

The food was very good, service was attentive and friendly. I was a bit surprised the eggs benedict didn’t come with a side of hashbrowns or the like. They gave us some complimentary toast while we waited for our food, which was a nice touch.

I was super excited to go to King Edward's Victoria tea room, the atmosphere was beautiful and our server Dey was a delight. He was very attentive and explained about the teas and how our high tea would be served. However, the savory part of the High Tea was just a few pieces of super tiny tasty sandwiches that quickly disappeared. The sweet part of the High Tea was plentiful, the scones were miniature. We ended up taking most of the sweet stuff in a doggy box. For the price I expected a lot more!!

We’ve always wanted to try the afternoon tea experience at the King Edward hotel after passing by the sign outside the hotel many times. We are so glad we did! Service was great. We tried the Darjeeling 2nd Flush and Chocolate Truffle teas, and ordered from the Garden menu with a glass of Prosecco. Both teas were absolutely delicious and we were so happy to see a vegetarian option. The scones were my favourite.

Excellent food and tea selections for the Spring Afternoon Tea menu. I arrived quite late (party of 1) after being reassured on the phone that I would be able to enjoy the meal. Upon arrival at around 415 (they close at 5pm) it was quite hectic as many patrons were leaving and need to settle their bills. I was left unattended for over 15 mins. As I started to get annoyed and was wondering if I should just leave, a rush of servers came to my attention. The manager also came to apologize for the wait and acknowledged her role in the incident. She also offered a discount right away graciously. I am very glad I stayed since the food was delicious (see my pictures) and other than the start, the service impeccable and attentive. Everyone can make mistakes and how the management chose to rectify the situation is why I give them 5 stars. Be kind.
