Booked a reservation quite a while ago for a best friend’s 30th birthday and the staff at Victor did an amazing job at serving my friends and I. We were a party of about 15 people, and everything was seamless! The complimentary champagne, bread, butter and olives were an excellent touch and made the 30th celebration feel even more special! Some feedback from my party - a couple friends ordered the spaghetti that they said was a bit on the salty side. Also, the food and drink menu was quite small to order from, but other than that everything else was great! Thanks again to the team at Victor working with me in executing a great 30th birthday dinner.

Friendly, fairly attentive service. I had an Empress Elixer cocktail which was delicious followed by the steak. Cooked perfectly how I like it but the potato side was cold. The decore is quite nice but it was quite quiet. We were one of two tables. Overall, not too bad but definitely not amazing.

4.0/5 Great service and a calm and relaxing ambiance. The staff are always pleasant at Le Germain and we certainly appreciate this. The food is good. Nothing outstanding but decent. I should note that their menu is pricey. For the quantity of food you get, each entrée is somewhat overpriced relative to what you can get in the area. Drinks are expensive as well. I would return for the experience of dining in a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 5 stars to the pleasant servers!

This restaurant is located inside Le Germain Hotel. The decor and vibes is very nice and classy. We were here on a Saturday night, but the place was empty, which is surprising to me, as everything was lovely here. We had the Icelandic cod, duck magret, and brussel sprouts. The cod was fresh and the rice that accompanied it was flavorful. The duck was delicious, the polenta was also great.

Very courteous staff, a great manager as well, food was excellent, drinks were reasonably price, for once I feel that tipping was well deserved! The place is chic, french vibes and a beautiful decor.

Elegant decor and atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and tasty food and drinks. It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I'd definitely come back to try their other dishes. They served fresh, warm bread to start with butter. I had the braised lamb shoulder for my entrée. The lamb had a good crust to it and was fairly soft in most parts. There were some parts that tasted a bit dry, but it was a pleasant dish overall. The sauce was rich and full of flavour. I also had a few cocktails, and each one was very well balanced and it they had their own special twists to put their own signature on otherwise classic cocktails.

A great dining experience on a Wednesday night. We booked a table for 6pm but realized that maybe we didn't need a reso - we were practically the only people there. This is Toronto's greatest secret, if that's the case. This place is classy (but not bougie), old (but totally doesn't look it), and it's got all the elements to make a dinner fantastic. Tascha was our server and she was natural and fun. There was no pretentiousness there. Food was phenomenal - we got a shrimp Waldorf and the gem salad to start, a pan seared chicken and the Vic burger as mains, and the desserts... Omg the desserts (a pavlova and a sticky toffee pudding)! Literally every bite of everything was better than the last. Hats off to the chef! Will be coming back. Just hoping that the secret isn't out and everyone's rushing to go... Thank you for an awesome, fantastic evening, one I haven't had in a long while in TO! <3
