Vesuvio Ristorante

One of the best authentic Italian restaurants I’ve been to in Brampton. Because of our dietary restrictions(Vegetarian-Jain) not many restaurants are able to accommodate our request. At Vesuvio, the owner himself was kind enough to listen to us and make a special pizza and pasta per our needs. The atmosphere was amazing as they had live music in the evening. We also danced on some romantic songs after dinner. Very good experience and would highly recommend Vesuvio to anyone wanting to have some authentic food and an amazing experience.

From the time we stepped into the restaurant to the time we left, the service and attention to detail were amazing. The food spectacular and the atmosphere top … esp. with the live music. If a restaurant can serve a pasta dish with all types of seafood and it doesn’t taste fishy, but it taste fresh … you know they are for real! The server and the “owner” served up the best experience we’ve had at a restaurant in a long time! Plus they don’t insist on 18%+ tips (which they absolutely deserved) like many others who don’t even deserve 5%! Our family of 4 fully enjoyed the experience and we’ll go back again!

What a great location right in the heart of downtown Brampton. This place has been around for a long time and they are serving up some delicious Italian eats. I had the gnocchi, aperol spritz, caprese salad and their home made tiramisu. It was all delicious!!! I highly recommend!

My wife and I spent many nights here when we lived in Brampton. It was our "go-to" restaurant for many years. So many years that our regular waiter, Maurizio, back then is now the owner! Maurizio even remembered us even after we had moved away 10 years ago. The food was amazing. He has completely redone the ristorante! It's beautiful. Amazing b&w pictures of Italy on the walls. Gorgeous. Great service! Friendly staff! Family outing or a nice date night, this is the ace to go. Thank you my friend, we'll be back as often as we can!

Absolutely loved my dining experience here! The moment you walk into the store, the service is friendly and on point. The food here is authentic and delicious. We really enjoyed the rigatoni and the vitello pizziaola as it was fresh, and the flavours were all there. The owner Maurizio is super friendly and has a passion for Italian food. We can see why this place is highly rated and popular.

What an amazing restaurant. The food was great, service and staff were friendly, and the portions were more than fair. Rarely do I genuinely leave full five star reviews but Vesuvio deserves it. Definitely one of the best if not the best Italian restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

On a sweltering summer evening, I decided to try Vesuvio Ristorante in Brampton, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience despite the heat. The restaurant’s cozy, inviting atmosphere is enhanced by its charming pizza oven, which, while contributing to the warmth, adds an authentic touch to the dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness by the owner and staff. The level of service was impeccable; everyone was attentive and eager to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The owner’s genuine hospitality made me feel right at home, and it was clear that the staff took great pride in their work. The food at Vesuvio Ristorante was absolutely outstanding. I ordered one of their signature dishes, and the flavors were exquisite. The pizza, with its perfectly crisp crust and fresh, high-quality toppings, was so delicious that I struggled to finish it, even though I wanted to savor every bite. Each dish seemed to be crafted with care and expertise, making it clear why this restaurant has such a strong following. Even though the temperature inside was a bit high due to the pizza oven, it was well worth it for the exceptional food and service. Vesuvio Ristorante has earned a special place in my heart, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in Brampton and craving incredible Italian cuisine, this gem is definitely worth a stop. Highly recommended!

My friend and I arrived just after 5pm on Friday, we were asked if we'd like the Patio... At first we opted for inside, but the Owner, Maurizio convinced us to sit out on the Patio, I'm glad we did! The washroom was pretty fancy and well kept... The free bread appetizer was great, every time an order of bread came out to another table, you could smell it as it passed by, Mmmmmm! I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs, OMG, the meat sauce was honestly like Mom used to make (with the direction of my Italian Step Father), complete with Bay Leaves, which I always remember to remove if I found one (which I did tonight). The only thing missing was some bread to mop up the sauce... Maurizio mentioned that I could have asked for more bread... Next time, next time. The Tiramisu was AWESOME, thanks again for that Maurizio! We'll be back... 👍
