Excellent food which fills you up and keeps you full hours after you eaten and just happens to be vegan. Coffee beans can be roasted right in front of you with the fantastic aromas during buna tetu Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Only one table to sit down and eat so you my have to have take out. Otherwise fantastic food and service.

Very nourishing, wholesome, and authentic food. The owner was very kind and offered us some homemade bread and honey wine, as we were dining in at the small table in the shop. We ordered one thali plate each, and the portions were large enough to take half home! A very nice experience.

Amazing food—original and delicious! The lady prepares everything herself with top-quality ingredients. She even offered me soup, made coffee from original Ethiopian beans, and shared the story of coffee in Ethiopia and her shop. Definitely recommended!

This is a lovely establishment. Upon entering this establishment, we were greeted and then we looked over the menu. We then told staff what we wanted to order. Staff went in the back and prepared our order. Staff was fairly quick and efficient. Upon getting back to our place, we ate the food. All the food was good. My sisters and I particularly liked the Ethiopian split peas and greens. We also liked the plantains greatly. I would definitely recommend this establishment’s food!

Delicious vegan Ethiopian food I’ve ever had! The first time we came, we were painting a mural across the street & tried for the first time! It was so delicious we kept thinking about it for a year! We very far from here, but when we came back to the area we had to get this before leaving. Our favourite is the mac & cheese, bbq chunks & the corn soup! Love the owners 🤎 Support your local small business!

Really welcoming store and restaurant with Caribbean and Ethiopian food. The grocery section has lots of cool products to check out (shea butter, Ethiopian decor, seeds and nuts etc) but unfortunately the food did not hit my sweet spot. The owner is friendly and relatively service was quick for takeaway. I had the chickpea roti and whilst the curry was okay the roti was very dry and generally the dish seemed overpriced. Perhaps I should have tried something else on the menu!

Excellent place. It's a grocery store and a restaurant. We love Ethiopian food in general and this place did not disappoint us. Plus it's vegan, so what else do you want? There's no dine-in, so you can get a takeaway. Not sure if the place delivers. We went for Vegan Roti Curry meal and savory Samosa. Both of them amazing. Samosa can use a bit less oil. The Curry meal is definitely recommended. Good enough for two people. The staff was great and friendly. There's street parking outside which is paid. Overall, highly recommended!

As others have mentioned the corn soup is good but for me, its nothing special. $6.50 for a small soup? Veggie lentil patty is $3.50 each? Did veggie prices double in 2020? I can get a beef patty for a $1.25 and I know beef prices went up. This places is priced as if they were a high end restaurant downtown. Bolgto might have made you popular for the soup but I wont be back while your overcharging. Randy's and Tinnels patties are better. Any Caribbean store making corn soup is just as good.
