Vaticano was such an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious. The lasagna was hands down the best I’ve ever had—so rich and flavorful, it felt like a hug in every bite. And the dessert? Just perfect! Sweet, satisfying, and the ideal way to end the meal. The service was spot on too. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Whether you’re going out with your partner, family, or a group of friends, I’d 100% recommend Vaticano. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Vaticano! Listen to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra while you enjoy your authentic Italian food. Highly recommend Mama Laura’s Lasagna. Friendly staff, quick service, and not as busy as you’d expect on a Saturday night.

I’m a regular for reason! Authentic Italian and a great atmosphere. I love love love their pasta and have tried most of the menu and they are always consistent!!

We couldn't get reservations at our favorite restaurant but we're pleasantly surprised we could make reservations here, and on a weekend evening nonetheless. We were further surprised when we walked into the restaurant and realized we were the only ones there. My salad was simply chopped up lettuce while the pasta was overcooked. The reason this restaurant, in the middle of Yorkville was empty, probably had to do with the fact that they have no repeat customers. Avoid!

What a fabulous birthday dinner we just had at Vaticano! Dmytro is an excellent server, very courteous, helpful and with great timing! The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. We had bruchetta, insalata, lobster fettuccine, mushroom risotti and the most decadent and delicious tiramisu we've ever had! Highly recommend this Yorkville gem 💙

Incredible food experience. Authentic Italian flavours and they have a new drink menu as well with amazing cocktails! The food has this beautiful homemade feel that makes it very special. Super friendly staff, prime location, and I was very happy with the prices given the quality of the food. Fully recommended!!

Food was delicious and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Went here for Winterlicious on a Wednesday evening, and ordered deep fried rice and meat balls as an app, steak and mushrooms with truffle sauce, pork tenderloin in a Riesling sauce, and cheesecake. All really delicious - the sauces for the meat mains were amazing. Would come back to this place.
