I visited with my husband and my baby and I was a bit worried that he might get restless, but the staff was incredibly kind and lent us a toy to keep him entertained. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were huge, so we didn't have room for dessert. My partner and I loved it, and we'll definitely be back.😃

Delicious, I ordered multiple dishes for my wife and I to try out. They put great care into their service. We’ve been to Portugal many times and the food is prepared with great attention to detail and is very authentic. As a restaurant, Vagueira excels in all categories. Looking forward to going big the next time I’m in the neighborhood and ordering the Arroz de Marisco.

Had an amazing meal for an incredibly reasonable price. All dishes were made with top ingredients and cooked to perfection and to order. The prawns in piri piri started us out and then we had the beef and the goat. Tender, delicious and authentic. Portions are way too generous and a carafe of wine is priced at $9 and will likely encourage you to drink perhaps a bit more than you might otherwise. Service is superbly friendly and the atmosphere including the music and decor makes you truly believe you are back in Portugal. Repeat visit for sure.

We both had the “Bife à Casa” and what a great choice! The steak was cooked to perfection, home fries from scratch and the sauce was just delicious! And to add, the staff were fantastic! Highly recommend!

Vagueira Restaurant is a wonderful spot with authentic flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The seafood dishes are fresh and well-prepared, and the portions are generous. Service was friendly, though a bit slow during busy times. Overall, a great place for a quality meal!

Hidden gem, family owned and always great service. This is our go to spot for portugese food in the city. The best grilled chicken I have ever had, very moist and not overly salty. Make sure to order the homemade chips.

I was just passing by and came across this absolutely amazing place. First of all, the atmosphere is so reminiscing of small neighbourhood cafes in Lisbon, where everyone speaks Portuguese, watched football and have a pleasant conversation with basically every visitor. Secondly, food. One of the best places in Toronto in terms of the ratio of the portions’ size, taste and price. I had a beef steak with an egg and fries, and it was absolutely delicious. Thirdly, the staff is super friendly. All in all, if I could give this place 10 starts, I would.
