Utopia Cafe & Grill

Wife and I came here for brunch after visiting Wonder Pens, around the block. We stayed for the brunch menu and it was very, very good. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and my wife ordered the Utopia Breakfast. It was a bit on the pricey side — but the quality and value was definitely there! The staff were extremely friendly and cheerful. Atmosphere was top notch too! I would definitely come back for the regular menu.

This place was a cute brunch place and the patio in the back was really nice. All the food is good and delicious. There is nothing to complain about the flavors. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. There might be a waiting time to get a seat and the food but we went there to catch up with some family friends, which didn’t make the wait long very noticeable. Overall, we had a pleasant time and we would definitely come back!

My partner and I love this restaurant! We’ve ordered online and dined in so many times. The owner is awesome and super nice! The restaurant itself is a hidden cute gem. The back sunroom area for dining is an indoor garden. The limited sitting on front patio is pretty much always busy, a good sign. The food here is delicious, made with love and all in all comfort food. Very reasonably priced for what you get. One of the best burgers around!! Breakfast options are fun and plenty and all yummy. Nice meat options as well as vegan options. 5/5 one of our favourite restaurants!

My wife, baby, and I had a wonderful brunch. The service was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious. We are from out of town but the vibe was very familiar and it seemed that they have regular customers. The food was ready reasonably quickly. Prices were right especially for the amount of food. I'd say it was the perfect amount of food. I wasn't overfull but I was definitely filled and not left wanting more. Their breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly. Thank you.

Great Sunday summertime brunch! Grapefruit mimosa was delicious and must have been fresh squeezed (makes sense, I peeped homemade radler on the menu), and the brunch food portion was very generous. Nice and breezy with patio seating and open windows. Very relaxing and inviting spot!

The place is big given it looks small in the front but they have a huge covered portion in the back and a small patio as well (in addition to the sidewalk patio). Went here on a Thursday for dinner. We made reservations but didn't really have to, since it was not busy. The place is cute and the staff is very attentive and polite. The food however is not great. It is alright for the price point but you need to choose - r u going out for good food you won't make at home or r u going out for home like food. If the choice is latter this is your spot. We got a chickpea burrito which was supposed to have curried potatoes with butternut squash and chickpeas cooked in coconut curry - the flavors for that description were quite underwhelming. The tamarind chutney was nice.

The backroom is airy and spacious and full of plants. It’s a lovely space to catch up with friends. The food was delicious - I love their shrimp burrito! My friends also really enjoyed the burgers. Great place for casual eats!

What a fantastic neighborhood gem! So glad we tried this spot out. The food was amazing, both in quality and quantity. It has that classic hearty homemade taste that just hits the spot. I really enjoyed the Utopia burger, but the steak sandwich was quite good as well. Also, we were quite impressed by the amount of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, so there is definitely something on the menu for everyone. Would recommend for groups of 2-4.
