More of an elevated Indian food spot but one of my favourites downtown! I tried the Masala sliders, Schezwan Chicken Popcorn and Chicken Lababdar, and I was satisfied with each. Would definitely come back to try more of their menu.

The best Indian cuisine restaurant in downtown. Hats off to the team for splendid service and hospitality. The food was amazing with top notch presentation. Moreover the ambience was at its best with soothing instrumental music. The team looks professional from the hostess to servers. Would definitely visit again.

The location is good. Car parking is difficult. The sitting arrangement is in two separate sections. In the outer section, the tables are narrow and placed close to each other - sufficient for coffee and some snacks. Jalapeño poppers and Malai Soya chaap were excellent and delicious. Veg Biryani is OK. Berry Lavender cocktail is really cool. Overall, food and service is good but feel pricy.

The food was fantastic! Everything we tried was so delicious. We had the pani puri shoots (which we inhaled in 5 seconds), the pudina paneer tandoori, paneer pasanda with garlic naan. The mule and daiquiri cocktails were also great! Everything was seasoned well and very rich in flavor. They don’t have a coat check and our table for two was quite small with our large coats and bags.

We went for a team lunch and Whoa we were impressed! Loved the vibe and decoration- impeccable presentation, good portion size and authentic taste. Food was sumptuous. Servers were courteous and attentive. They were accommodating to our preorder request and customization to suit a mix of Indian and non- indian guests. Definitely coming back for quality indian food!

Urban Maharajas is a fantastic place to eat! The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a lovely atmosphere that feels both cozy and classy. The food is amazing—each dish is packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Their curries are rich and delicious, and the tandoori items are cooked to perfection. The service is great too! The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help and suggest dishes. Overall, Urban Maharajas is a wonderful spot for a great meal. Highly recommend it!

My first time visiting and I had an amazing experience at Urban Maharajas! The food was very delicious, great presentation, loved the ambiance, excellent service and very spacious restaurant. The best part is that it is very close to Union station. The decor and lighting felt great and really set the vibe for a relaxing dining experience. Highly recommend, great Indian food that's totally authentic and will leave your taste buds craving for more!
