Excellent hospitality and service. Love the blackened catfish. I will continue to have dreams about the gumbo.

Don’t let the little restaurant size fool you, you will have a tremendous experience. The food was amazing, the service was great and prices are good for the portion size and great quality. We had the creole Mac and cheese and hush puppies for apps, a nice spin on the Caesar drink, blackened salmon and the brisket. And we got grits! Who serves authentic grits? I WILL go back - wanna try the Po boys- and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Everything was delicious but the gumbo was 11/10! So good I ate it before I could think of taking a picture. Instantly transported back to New Orleans with a cup of gumbo and rice 😋 Service is also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The menu is a delightful homage to the spicy and rich flavors of Cajun cooking, offering a variety of dishes that cater to both the adventurous foodie and those seeking the comfort of home-cooked meals. The jerk wings and breaded wings are a must-try, with just the right amount of heat to tantalize your taste buds without overwhelming them. The jerk chicken po’ boy is a standout, packed with flavor and served with a side of authenticity.

Wow! Every single dish that I got to try here was simply amazing. The food was fresh, delicious and expertly made. I could feel the heart and soul put into each dish. I had the corn bread, calamari (must-try!), jambalaya linguine, bayou brisket, hush puppies, creole jambalaya, garlic mash potatoes and pecan pie! The restaurant itself was newly renovated and had a modern, cozy atmosphere with lots of seating. I will definitely be coming here again 💯

If you haven’t been here, I feel sorry for you. We started off with the Mac - beautifully seasoned and just the right amount of creaminess. All dishes were perfectly portioned and superbly generous. You know when you go camping and you smell the bbq charcoal heating up? That’s what the brisket tastes like…it brought back some amazing memories for me and the grits and vegetables were cooked to perfection. My partner got the jerk po boy…….My god. Divine. It didn’t even stop there. The poutine is just insane. I have no idea what they put in that gravy, by far the best poutine I’ve ever had in my life. Finished off with bourbon bread pudding for dessert, super delicious and amazingly done by the chefs in the back. Amazing staff. Judith I believe her name was, what a gem! And the chefs in the back gave an amazing execution on everything. Hats off to the owners and staff members. We love that you’re part of Scarborough and can’t wait to flaunt you around! Thank you!!

Coming from the west end, I haven't really experienced much Cajun food cuisine in the area. We stumbled upon this after a visit to the bluffs. We were absolutely delighted with both the food and service. Our server/host was an amazingly kind and polite woman. She would chat with us every now and then and helped us decide on what would suit us best. Overall a wonderful experience. As for the food, we were surprised with how much quality food could come out of such a small location. Another instance of not judging a spot by its outside look. We ordered the mac & cheese, cornbread, blackened salmon, cracker catfish, jambalaya linguine and jerk chicken po'boy. All were absolutely amazing and left us both full and satisfied. Not to mention their home hot sauce is a perfect blend of spice and sweet that I had to order some to take home. I would recommend this to anyone in the area for both a wonderful meal and some great service.

Very small restaurant. Judith was a pleasure to deal with, very funny and welcoming. The food was amazing. The taste just grabs you. Calamari was a cut above anywhere else we've tried. The Blackened chicken definitely a hit as this was the first time I've tried this along with the mash potatoes, vegetables and dip. August 22, 2024 Second time at this restaurant and they've done some renovations so the inside is more welcoming, comfortable and modern. The Jambalaya and Tipsy Shrimp Linguine both hit the spot. The Jerk Wings were a bit of a let down.
