Based on St Lawrence Market. Always seemed busy so thought I'd give it a try. Went for the Grandfather Veal parmigiana and eggplant sandwich. Pretty tasty. Flavors mixed well. Right amount of tasty sauce. Was not too messy to eat. Was expecting some punchier flavor. Will get the jalapenos added, which was offered but I opted not to have. Regret.

Got veal parm classic sandwich. The sandwich was warm, marinara sauce and veal parm combination were good. But I'm not sure if I want to come back or not. The staff who has long coloured nails made sandwiches with barehands :( Wish they wore gloves though.

Their sandwich and pasta are incredible! We had godfather veal and meatball spaghetti, and they just made our day. 💚👍 Also they were very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Just had the most incredible hot Italian sandwich, and the chicken parm was perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a crispy golden crust that held up beautifully under a rich, flavorful marinara sauce. The melted mozzarella was just the right amount of gooey, blending everything together into a deliciously satisfying bite. The bread was fresh and slightly toasted, adding the perfect crunch to every mouthful. This sandwich truly hit the spot—comfort food at its finest. If you’re a fan of chicken parm, this is a must-try!

I ordered the veal godfather. It's beef. This sandwich is very big! It's full of tomato sauce, it tastes like pasta haha, and fried eggplant, it's very special. Recommended to try.

In the st. Lawrence market best meatball sandwich I have had in a long time! Just made right the toronto way on a kaiser. I has extra sauce the godfather meatball with eggplant! Yum!

Uno Mustachio has been keeping Italian food real since at least the late 1990s when I first discovered it (apparently it was established in 1984). This is one of two absolute go-to places in Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market (the other being “St. Lawrence Pizza & Pasta”.) Uno Mustachio delivers the authentic Italian eggplant, chicken and veal parmigiana sandwich experience. Back in the day, these were the sandwiches which I would bring home after work to my father’s approval… and it had to be good to get his approval. (He generally didn’t like outside prepared food… very old-country) 🙂 Going back to Uno Mustachio last week brought all the goodness back: a chicken parmigiana sandwich with a Sanpellegrino limonata - che bella cosa è.

The sauce and eggplant were really flavourful. On the other hand the chicken and bread was a bit lack lustre. Overall tasty sandwich but a bit pricey at $18 for a chicken with eggplant sandwich.
