If you want no-fuss, simple comfort food, you will enjoy this restaurant. Their bagels with cream cheese and lox are pretty good. I also like their pizza bagel and blintzes. The baked goods are where they really shine though.

The food was very good, the fries were crispy, I ordered a vegan burger and my girlfriend had a bagel with cheese and pizza-style tomato sauce, everything was delicious and the ladies who served us were excellent. The prices were very reasonable since the dish I ordered even came with a salad. 👌🏻

This establishment has been around for a century. A very quaint setting with an extensive menu. I love the novelty feel and energy. Once you arrive, you are greeted with the biggest smile. My friend and I had a small bite, which was delish. We will be back to try more on the menu.

I wanted Jewish food and my mother in law was out of town. Good thing these are are around. They taste amazing with that warming homemade quality you only get when mom cooks. I love this place. Their blintzes are addictive.

I have been coming to UBD on and off since 2002 after moving nearby. This is one of the few restaurants in Toronto that is not only quite affordable but where everything is consistently good and made from scratch. The owners and the staff are sweet, affable, kind and competent. I always loved Jewish food and this is one restaurant where you can find some of the best dishes. They are not kosher but kosher-style and are open 7 days a week which is great for non-Jewish people like me as well. From the French Toast to the Kasha and from the Fish to the Falafel, everyone will find something to love here. It's vegetarian so if, like me, you are reducing meat in your diet, this is the place for you. Bon appétit !

This was my first time at United Bakers! I was looking to take my girls to a Jewish Deli as we don’t have a lot of options at home! I was immediately thrilled by the cross section of customers and the business of the restaurant! You could tell right off that there was a strong community here! Latkes, Blintzes and Challah French Toast…oh my! The Mac n Cheese was delicious! My husband and friend had fishy things..that I don’t really care for..but they said they were awesome! Friendly service! We enjoyed it all!
