Union Social Eatery

Very bad burger, honestly the worst I've had in a long while. Not cooked well and very oily with taste of old oil all over the patty. I visited union social a few years ago and had nachos and beer. The nachos were good and the environment was warm and enjoyable overall. This is why I wanted to visit again. Following this experience, I will likely never go back.

I had a pleasant experience at union social. The 2 bartenders were fantastic and attentive - making tasty cocktails with a side of authenticity and kindness. The atmosphere was good, needless to say I'd definitely come here again.

I came to this restaurant on a sunny Thursday afternoon, was promptly asked to enjoy the sun on the patio and greeted by one of the best cocktail and drinks master, Paria. She thoughtfully recommended the exact food I should get as well as made my espresso martini which was exquisite! I finished the whole meal and my drink alongside banter which I’ll never forget. Canadian hospitality and chill vibes at it best! Thank you Paria ❤️

Have been here many times and always had a good time. Food is 8/10 and service is fast and great. Parking is limited on the streets (green p) and there is a rooftop patio in summer. The burger is 8/10 and fish and chips is 6/10. I prefer to have snacks in here with drinks 🍹 instead of going for dinner. Overall I give 8/10.

I ordered my steak to be cooked medium-rare, but it arrived well-done. However, the staff corrected it without any hassle, and I appreciated their prompt action. Overall, the food was decent, but nothing outstanding. My friend also felt that the fish dishes were overcooked. On the bright side, the fries were exceptional and had a satisfying crunch to them.

Our manager chose this location for our staff Christmas dinner this year. It was not very busy when we got there and the ambiance was very inviting and pleasant. I ordered the Smokehouse Deluxe Beef Burger which is served with fries. I enjoyed my food even though the meat was a little more charred than it should have been. Our waitress was great and gave our group exceptional service. I think this is one of the best premium casual dining and socializing venues in town.

Union Social Eatery is nice for the patio, and okay for everything else. For appetizers, I was not too fond on how the nachos (Nachito) were assembled. The calamari was ok, it doesn’t come with a chipotle sauce, which is more of what I am used to in these kinds of establishments. The epic burger was good, and I liked the fries. Our waiter was extremely nice and welcoming. However, I think the management is shoddy which leads to disorganized service. E.g. running out of forks. They seemed a little understaffed to me. I enjoyed the patio atmosphere here, but I would not be too keen on returning!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Union Social Eatery and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying their avocado dip, which was not only tasty but also reasonably priced. During happy hour, the drink prices were incredibly affordable, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy some refreshing beverages without breaking the bank.
