Umami Poke

I’ve ordered from this place multiple times and I have enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, today there was a worm or larva in my food that I noticed near the end. I think this came from the rice or vegetables. I’m disgusted and will not return. I did receive a refund and they seemed to take this complaint seriously. I have no complaints about their reaction to this discovery. I would not recommend anyone eat here. At least not until a few months have passed by and their health and safety standards have improved.

Came here for lunch and ordered a regular sized bowl. The portion size is small for the amount that you're getting, $17 (before tax) for a "regular". Small was $14 I believe. The container was not very full. I ordered the Jammin ginger sauce with salmon. I did not taste any ginger whatsoever in the sauce and it was quite salty. I would not come back here again.

Came here due to the great reviews but I found the poke bowl lacked flavour and freshness. Also, I have to agree with another reviewer as I felt rushed by the employee to order and quickly read the board despite being the only person there at the time.

Incredibly unique and cozy restaurant with nice staff. The one stand out quality of the restaurant is the freshness of its ingredients. Tried the shoyu salmon with zucchini noodles which had great flavour. Would definitely come back again.

I love how cozy and original this place is and how great service they offer. I am a bit new to Poke so the "Build your Bowl" card made it easier for me. I went with my wife and kid and they were super cool about serving us a customized bowl for him with only rice and avocado. We had our bowls with salmon and tuna and it was delicious.

Had my first poke bowl at this place, it was delicious. It did not disappoint. Bowl was made on the spot, ingredients are fresh. Decor is clean, spacious, simple and a pop of color. You can customize your bowl however you like, this place is great for lunch.

Nice place. Ingredients are fresh and nicely prepared. Very friendly staff who are eager to improve and to become more creative in ways that will satisfy customers. If you have time, give it a try. It is different experience from Rolltation or any other franchise poke places. Their set menu changes everyday since they have “Favourites of the day”. Also you can create your own. The portion can be a little small. But I loved the fact that one of the owners approached me and my wife and other customers to get feedbacks and exchanged opinions. This was something unique for me to see in a poke place (or maybe any other places). The overall experience was good.
