Service was very accommodating to our group’s food preferences and restrictions! Greatly appreciated this. Nice ambiance and food was delicious, interesting flavours made for a fun experience. The amount we got was at a decent price point, we paid $90 pp +tax/gratuity for 9 course meal (pictured)

I went to Ultra for my birthday dinner with a large group of girls. It was my first time at the restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. To start, they were able to accommodate my group perfectly and created set menus for us which my friends loved. The food was all delicious and the portions were great. I personally loved the fish and steak they served. I have to say, the service definitely made my night memorable. All the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed. On the set menu, I noticed there was a change from my sea bass to a udon - when I brought this up to the staff, they were able to accommodate the changes right away and provide me with other options immediately. Overall, 10/10 dining experience and Im so glad I chose Ultra to host my birthday. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful venue! I’ve been here a couple times now. I wouldn’t recommend eating here, I personally think the menu needs to be reworked since each dish left me lackluster. However I still put a 4 star because they have great cocktails and great service. Definetly a place to come back to once they come out with their new menu after the new year 😊

A great spot for a date night! The interiors are beautiful, and the service was warm and attentive. We opted for the three-course set menu—starting with the Caesar salad, which was excellent, though the tuna tartare had a slightly fishy taste. For mains, both the short rib and fish were cooked perfectly, but the real star of the evening was the eggplant dish, which was outstanding. Overall, a lovely dining experience.

My 2 friends and I came here to celebrate a special occasion. We decided to get the 3 course tasting menu ($65) so we could taste each dish. For the first course we tried the tuna tartar and Caesar salad. I enjoyed both! For the second course I would recommend the short rib, I loved that the fat melted in my mouth and they were tender. I tried my friend’s branzino it was also delicious; I usually don’t like fish skin but they cooked it so the skin was crispy, very tasty! For the appetizer, they only had one option for the table which was fried eggplant, which was cooked well with tasty flavours! However one of my friends doesn’t enjoy eggplant at all so she just didn’t eat it. Maybe next time they could options for the app. For the dessert, we tried all 3, and they were all just ok. It felt like they were all the same texture even though I know one of them (I forget the name) should have had a crispy breading underneath… it just seemed to fall short. BUT I did like how they weren’t too sweet. Our server was amazing and he took great photos of us, his name was Ethan. Definitely as for him to serve you when you go.

I recently visited Ultra Toronto to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was both creative and aesthetically pleasing, with every dish offering a delightful mix of flavors that impressed not just with taste but also with presentation. The service was equally exceptional, with friendly and caring staff who made sure our evening was special. One of the highlights was their out-of-the-box cocktails, which were as tasty as they were unique. Even the Caesar salad, a dish I didn't expect to stand out, was the most delicious salad I've ever had in my life—it had a flavor unlike any other. While Ultra Toronto is on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth it for special occasions. If you’re looking to celebrate in style with an unforgettable dining experience, this is the place to be.

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. I was initially drawn in by the dining room's design and the team from Akira Back. However, after this visit, I don't plan to return and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Recently, I saw a post about a "happy hour" menu and decided to give it a try. When I arrived at the restaurant with my friend, Zoe informed us that the "happy hour" menu was only available on the patio. Even if we want to try the regular menu and the “happy hour” menu, we can't sit in the dining room. This was confusing and we hadn't been notified about this policy, even though we made a reservation over the phone. We ended up on the patio and requested a table under the umbrella, but Zoe refused, citing that it was already booked. At that time, there was only one table occupied in the dining room. It was chilly outside, and there were many bothersome bees around. We tried to seek assistance from the waitress, but she informed us that all areas were fully booked. Around 6 pm, there were some empty spots and also the dining room which was largely empty. Upon returning home, I read Google reviews, which mentioned the necessity of specifying a preference for the patio seating. It seems we should have been directed to the dining room. I also revisited the post on social media that I had seen a few days prior. The individual had the “happy hour” in the dining room and had even posted pictures. I'm confused as to why our experience differed. Regarding the food, the portion sizes were suitable for sharing, and the prices were reasonable. However, the Szechuan chicken wasn't spicy but rather too sweet, and the beef skewers were inconsistently cooked - some parts were too dry, while others were too raw. Overall, we didn't enjoy our meal, which left us feeling like we wasted both our time and money.

Ultra has been in my list for a long time and I'm glad I got the chance to go. I was welcomed by amazing interior and seating which set the mood really well. The service was exceptional, and the food tasted really well with the exquisite flavours. Although the portion sizes were really really small and made the menu seem very overpriced but the flavours made up for it. It is a really good place to go on a date or for special occasion.
