U Need A Pita

This place is disgusting! Went in last night with a whole group of people, ordered our food, and as we waited, we watched cockroaches scurry across the table! Started to look around and saw at least 4 other dead ones on the floor! That's why the lights were so dim in there, to hide how dirty it is. We immediately canceled our order and asked for our money back...The only good thing was that they gave us a refund as soon as we said something. This place is obviously infested and should be shut down by public health! Looking at other reviews, it's obviously not a new problem. People have been seeing them for a long time there!

The employees working the evening of Sunday, Dec. 15 were very rude and probably made the worst poutine I have tasted from this location and I have been a long term customer. The poutine from this location is usually good but this time around it was terrible. Messy, very little or no gravy, very little or no sauce and the poutine basically tasted like a box of fries.

I had an amazing experience at You Need a Pita thanks to Preksha! Her service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and efficient. She took the time to make sure my order was perfect and even offered some great suggestions from the menu. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely kind and welcoming. The food was fresh, delicious, and exactly what I needed, but it was Presha’s outstanding service that really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great poutine, fries, and burgers for a decent price. Have been coming here these past few months. However recently they had a giant speaker put in the store right by the register that is constantly blasting loud music. I can barely hear the person serving me over it. I literally had to leave the store and wait outside in the rain for my order the last time I came because it was so overwhelming. I am autistic and am highly sensitive to loud noises and this speaker blasting its music makes the place inaccessible to me. I don't think I will be coming back until the people there learn to listen to music at a reasonable volume. I really don't understand why a pita shop has to sound like a night club.

I found a bug in my food! 🦗 I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pita served as a salad. As I was finishing the final bites of my salad, I found a bug. It looked like it was cooked with my chicken. I hear that bugs are a more sustainable source of protein than chicken so it’s great that U Need A Pita is being environmentally conscious, but this isn’t what I ordered! A previous review said they saw 3 bugs in the restaurant. I guess there’s 2 left now.

Ordered a grilled chicken wrap on a pita. Worst chicken wrap ever . The pita was broken and falling apart, smh. If u wanna use the washroom you gotta use the staff washroom which is disgustingly dirty. If you want a receipt they cannot give you one, totally ridiculous smh. Save your money, trust me.

Walked in and ordered the Tuesday special Taco pita. The lovely owner offered bowl variations which i didn't know they had. Very exciting for me as I'm trying to eat healthier, so I decided on a Taco salad bowl. The food is fresh and tasty! Lots of options for toppings and sauces, and the price for the amount of food I got can't be beat! I will be back and will bring friends! Delish!!!

Ordered through uber eats to pick up. Got a raw burger, the wrong size wrap, an order of over done and over salted fries. Don't bother here. Literally anywhere else is better. A single patty burger, small fries, what was suppose to be a 9" chicken Caesar wrap and some drinks came out to 45$ with me picking it up.
