Twice As Nice

The food is delicious, which is why I tolerate the low-level quality of service. It's a take out spot, so the atmosphere is not important to me, but it's very basic. They're opening a dine in restaurant across the street in the new year. Hopefully, it'll be well managed.

I bought goat head soup and it was so salty I had to dilute it with water. I'm not a fan of putting pimento seed directly in foods, use a loose leaf tea ball or a cheese cloth. That way you don't spend all you time fishing pimentos and thyme stalks from your food. That being said the soup was average at best.

I ordered take out worst thing ever! The oxtail is burnt you can taste the sugar in it trying to save the meat. I ordered oxtail gravy with the macro i pie which was just mush . I wish I had time to cook yesterday worst meal ever and to order two portions of cow foot soup with more broth than anything I literally got one piece of meat. Very sad cause I used to live ordering from here . Please fire your chef and make them a cashier if they still need a job.

Met the owner while in the fridge at Costco, so naturally, I had to check out his restaurant. If his food’s as fresh as those Costco veggies, I’m in! Spoiler alert: it’s even better. The only thing cooler than that fridge was the service—and thankfully, the food was piping hot. Highly recommend if you like your meals delicious and your friendships born in random grocery aisles!

I don't know why this place is rated only 3.7 because I have been visiting here for 7+ years and having a meal here is like a treat or reward for all the hard work I've done the week prior. The food is amazing, the BBQ chicken is the absolute best, and you can taste the coconut milk in the rice and peas. I am sorry but anyone who has given a low rating should be disregarded, and tastebuds cannot be trusted. As a born and grown Jamaican this tastes like home home-cooked meal that your granny would prepare for a special occasion.

I enjoy Caribbean food 1st time here. So the taste of the food was great their house made hot sauce was good not to hot. I had the stew beef rice an pea Ordering thru the plexi glass kinda sucked. There was no seating there Over all good. I will definitely be a regular coming here.

Came for bbq chicken. Disappointed. Its a lot of taste but not as great as im expecting. Ive had better. Pricey for what it is. Ill probbly come back just to try jerk chicken bc id like to see if itll be good. but wont have high hopes regarding service because The staff here is very rude. As a customer , theyre not friendly . Also i come here sometimes as ubereatsdriver wait times are long. I came also onetime, staff fought w customer and customer was not being rude, they messed up his order and theyre the one who is upset. Came one time to pick order , and the lady threw the order in the counter and did not say one word . Not hard but it bounced .

Ordered large oxtail and goat and large beef soup. Service and time to receive food was ok Soup was very good with good mix of food, meat and broth. Found oxtail a bit sweet and goat was salty, thick and lots of bones- it felt like the bottom of the pot. Wouldnt purchase goat again if like this. Oxtail tasted nicer. Would try orher items on menu. There was a good number of people lined up
