The signature sour and spicy dry noodle is very tasty. But my wife ordered the soup noodle with BBQ pork. The pork tasted like it has been in the fridge for a few days and then had been microwaved for too long.

Not sure if the Guilin rice noodles are authentic, as they differ from what I had locally. The pork soft bones were not tender enough, and the broth was not too salty, with pickled vegetables that were sweet and sour. The stir-fried rice noodles with bitter melon and beef were a pleasant surprise, featuring a crispy rice noodle base. The Yuan Yang (coffee mix milk tea) was mediocre, lacking aroma and flavor, with too much milk taste. The chili oil was not very spicy and lacked fragrance. The environment was clean.

A restaurant that’s way under-rated. I ordered the 牛腩桂林米粉 and 椒盐猪手 and they were both fantastic! The beef brisket was so tender and flavourful, the pickled veg was one of the best, and the soup was appropriately soured and appetizing! It’s more like a 广西桂林米粉 in Hongkong style but fused in a good way. If the one I had in Guangzhou was authentic, I prefer this to the Guangzhou one. 肉末老友粉, however, is a bit too sour to me, and the ground meat is a bit commonplace.

2024 May 2.5★ Reminiscent of an old school HK 茶餐廳, this restaurant serves a lot of the usual faire with those primarily focused on carbs. Fried Rice Noodle w/Beef & Bean Sprout $14 This was ok. Pretty standard. Wasn't amazing. Deep Fried Crispy lntestine $17.50 Not bad, crispy goodness and fattening.. served with picked radish. It's ok. Fried Vermiceli Singapore Style $14 This was decent, though the shrimp were very small. Overall it's nothing amazing. Ok for a filling meal. Free parking.

Pretty good Chinese diner. They have an extensive list of HK cafe food and a separate menu of Yunnan style noodle dishes. I've only tried the Yunnan style noodles, I like them even though they're not quite as coriander forward as other Yunnan restaurants. The fried pork knuckles are a fun treat. They're pretty filling so maybe share with a few people.

My recent experience at Tsui Wah Restaurant in Scarborough was absolutely delightful! The restaurant offers generous portions of delicious food at reasonable prices, making it a definite go-to spot for anyone craving authentic flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Lamb Brisket Vermicelli in Soup, prepared in the Gui Lin style. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the lamb brisket was tender and succulent. What truly elevated the dish was the hint of spice that lingered in every spoonful, leaving a memorable impression. Another standout feature is their in-house chili oil, which tastes remarkably similar to XO sauce. It added the perfect kick to each dish, enhancing the overall dining experience. I also tried the Fried Pork Intestine, and it was a delightful surprise. The texture was crispy, and the flavors were well-balanced, making it a satisfying choice for those seeking something a bit more adventurous. Overall, Tsui Wah Restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, ample portions, and reasonable prices.

Not bad, the portion is huge. I will probably request fewer noodles next time. Their signature fried pork intestine is also good but they need to speak out more fat inside and their price are slightly higher than other restaurants.

The overall experience was alright. I came here for breakfast and ordered a satay beef with Instant Noodle in soup. The instant noodle cooked really well as they are still chewy. The beef is fine, but it seems like Satay was missing. It tasted only the soup base from instant noodles. The Hong Kong style milk tea is pretty good. It is thick but not creamy. I am surprised to see their menu still carrying a variety of noodle soups under $9. A neighbourhood restaurant serving the community at a reasonable price with average dishes. I will recommend it.
