I always come to get jerk and rice and the man running the shop is amazing he cooks all by himself cleans all by himself runs the whole business by himself this man deserves the best in life hard working and always respectful 10000% best jerk chicken in Hamilton all the best to him and his family 🙏🏼

I order food twice on Uber eats just to have it cancelled by the restaurant mind you I called to ask them before reordering because the issue first time was that they didn’t have one item I wanted so I called spoke to someone and reorder only to be charged and order cancelled it’s ridiculous. Not to mention I’m in hospital and just trying get some damn food!!

Ordered through Uber Eats. It took a full 90 minutes before they finally cancelled the entire order because they were out of one of the items. Usually, the restaurant would communicate & offer a substitution, but instead they just left us hanging after almost 2 hours.

A Disappointing Experience I recently visited a so-called Caribbean restaurant, hoping for an authentic culinary experience, but was met with utter disappointment. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was uninviting, with a strong smell of marijuana permeating the air. There was no greeting, no "hello" – just an awkward, uncomfortable silence. Customer service was abysmal. I waited a full 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence, only to be rudely interrupted when the server decided to prioritize an Uber driver who walked in. This added another 10 minutes to my wait time. The staff's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The food was far from authentic Caribbean cuisine. The flavors were off, and the dishes lacked the vibrant, fresh taste one would expect. To make matters worse, when I received the bill, there were several discrepancies. If I hadn’t paid close attention, I would have been overcharged. This restaurant is a joke and does a disservice to genuine Caribbean culture and cuisine. It’s clear they don’t care about providing quality service or food. Save yourself the trouble and stay clear of this place. It's not worth your time or money.

I felt the meals were overall under seasoned - down to the coleslaw; I just wanted more bang from the flavours I love. I also asked for hot sauce for each dish and received none. The curry chicken seamed under done - a lil too red by the bone for my liking. Two stars for the curry goat because well it was the one I didn't mind eating. Side Note - store front hours don't often seem to be exact 😆!

Always a pleasure to stop in and see the gentleman running this place. He's always happy to make something fresh if you're willing to wait and he doesn't skirt on the portions. Some of the best Jamaican food in the city and his chicken game is on point consistently. Fried plantains are my go to from here.. easy to take with an they are cheap, filling and fun.
