Tropical Island Caribbean Restaurant

Picked up some lunch from here today and it was so good! The BBQ chicken was so tender and flavourful. The macaroni salad was also really good! Wish I got more of that with my meal. I’d definitely return when I’m in the area. Also gotta say, this was a lunch special for around $9.. can’t beat that price . Service was a 10/10.

Every meal I have ever eaten here has been fantastic. The people are so kind and the food is so fresh and delicious. Portions are so big I always have leftovers. A true GEM in Vaughan and the GTA. So grateful. GOD BLESS! 🫶❤️

I regularly go here, the food selection and the value is unmatched. They regularly have specials, the breakfast is delicious and filling. I highly recommend the food and service here. The staff are great and you won’t be disappointed!

Stumbled across this place on our way up north a few years ago and now every time we pass through the city it’s our go-to spot for Caribbean food! The oxtail is my favourite but my husband loves the curry goat. We always order a large macaroni salad that the kids fight over. The jerk pork is also really good. We grew up in Toronto but now live in Niagara and always look forward to good food when we’re are back in the city. Definitely worth the drive even if you aren’t close!!! And the staff is so wonderful. They’re always so friendly and the prices are reasonable/comparable to other places we’ve been to. Must try!

Tired of the same fast-food, I decided to try this restaurant, and it is an amazing jewel. Not only because of fresh food and taste delicious but also because of the environment and service, always smiling and happy to make you feel at home... in an island home.

I had an amazing experience at Tropical Island Caribbean Restaurant, which serves a mix of West Indian and Canadian cuisine. I tried the Goat Curry with rice and beans, a side of pepper sauce with macaroni salad, and everything was absolutely delicious. The goat was perfectly tender, the flavors were rich, and the portions were just right. The restaurant itself was clean and vibrant, with lively Caribbean beats that added to the atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond, even offering a complimentary side dish, which made the service truly exceptional. This place deserves more than a 5/5 for its outstanding food, warm ambiance, and impeccable service. Highly recommend!

My Family and I LOVE this restaurant. Food is delicious and real authentic west indian. Service is fantastic . Restaurant is super clean and staff are always so friendly and prices are very good . We also order catering from them every year for our BBQ and everyone always asks about where we order the food from!
