Trini Island Cuisine

I love the doubles here i’ve tried Doubles at other places, but this one is one of my favourite. Even my eight-year-old enjoyed it and he is very picky with his food. They are very friendly and the place looks nice and clean. Highly recommended.

I work beside here and it’s the only place I eat from. The owners are so friendly and have great customer service skills. They really treat you like family. Now the food. Me and my staff are addicted to the poulorie? We usually end up getting a tray because it’s honestly the best. It’s lightly crispy and not chewie. The inside filling is fluffy and cooked. It comes with a side of tamarind sauce that I’d drink if I could. I’m always in search for these fried fritters and these are the best and most consistent. It’s become such a treat and so popular in the area. Get the before 2 pm tho.

I had the Aloo Pie. It was delicious very filling. The flavors were good the portion and price is amazing!!! The customer service was great! They are really sweet and kind people. I would recommend this spot to anyone who is interested in tasting trini and Tobago flavors.

Owner of restaurant has great customer service and such a delight to sample other items from the menu, he was also helpful in outlining the weekend and week day specials, a trini menu great for small or large or in between orders. I’ll be going back for re orders on the cook up and snapper fish, boneless curry chicken, dal curry rice and fish oh can’t forget plain roti (melts with curry sauce mmm).

Sunday October 16, 2022 Came here for the first time. Great positive vibes with fun authentic music. The food is amazing. I got thr rice, noodles, sweet and sour chicken and spicy chicken as well with a hit of hot sauce. Very tasty! Owner Chan is fantastic. Her personality, professionalism, and customer service compliments the place, food quality, and service well. Love her energy and enthusiasm. Very transparent and makes you feel comfortable knowing about her food they serve. Will come back!

Great food, tried the cuisine for the 1st time and absolutely loved it. The double double was great, and the goat curry was splendid. The staff was polite and helped me choose special of the day. I am definitely going back. Do try out if you are in the area.
