Tres Compadres

My office ordered from Tres Compadres for a lunch & learn. Half of their menu items were sold out, so we only had a choice of tacos or sandwiches. I went with 3 tacos. They arrived around 11:30AM and were very cold. As if they were prepared the night before and kept in the fridge overnight. I ate the campechano, and half of the chicken tinga... but couldn't stomach the rest. The carnitas had a yellow/green colour to it and honestly looked like it would make me sick. Definitely do not recommend! Not even if it's free.

I ordered food for the first time from here via Uber Eats, and I’m really disappointed. The nachos and tacos were both soggy and lacked any flavor. As I ate, it only got worse. The nachos seemed like just chips from a convenience store, and the tacos were soggy with no real taste. I’ve had much better from other places. I won’t be ordering from here again.

What happened to this place? They used to be the best taco spot in Toronto. Their shells were amazing. A mix of hard and soft-every bite was heaven, 😍😍-but I recently went there, and was extremely disappointed ,,, they no longer have the same crispy shells now it is soggy, uncooked, sad looking flour tortillas. The rice which used to be my favourite part is now just a bland white rice. I see a lot of review saying the same thing. I just don’t understand how the quality went down so quick. I used to recommend this all the time, but I would never recommend it to anybody ever again I was embarrassed for bringing my friend there to eat… and we weren’t even allowed to eat there

Used to be really good takeout food , always crispy tacos packaged with care. Now we buy the crispy tacos and we cannot even pickup the taco is how saugy it is. The chips are also a huge disappointment they used to serve the best chips, now it is Tostitos quality Very sad and will have to find a new taco spot :/

Yes tacos were best I had compared to many places but most outstanding part was the servers and manager here. My son was fussy coz he was hungry n famished after long day so I ordered only for him as I had already got my dinner packed. They were extremely courteous towards 10 year old cranky boy and once we were done and I ready to pay my Apple Pay was not going through. Same day I had lost my wallet and all my cards n cash so only thing I was relying on was Apple Pay and after 3 tries I knew I was in soup. I spoke to manager and was trying to explain my situation and shared I can get cash tomorrow and pay but before I could finish my thoughts, he interrupted me and said, I know what it feels like loosing your wallet. Please do not worry. I can’t tell you how he made me feel… without making a big deal he said it’s on us. Take 2, three days later when I went back to pay him they didn’t accepted my cash. Take 3, post that every-time I want to eat Mexican I know where I will go. And their food is absolutely yummy!! He may not remember me but I will never forget their kindness. Must go n enjoy! It’s low key fun n easy place to hang out with friends. They have fun patio, roof top restaurant, amazing bartender and awesome music to make u groove.

First of all, I did not even dine-in at the restaurant and their food was PROPERRR. I UberEats’d some nachos and chicken tacos and WOW!! The food was perfectly seasoned and it hit the spot so hard I didn’t even expect it 😂 I could only imagine dining in and everything coming straight from the kitchen, OUF *Chefs Kiss* 🤌🏽. Tacos were a little expensive as it adds up since they charge you per taco, but tbh food was sooo worth it!! Also their “Crema” sauce is literal crack, not too sure what’s in it but they nailed that concoction to a T 💯💯

I almost laughed when I opened the set of three tacos I ordered from here. These are Lunchable-sized! Definitely overpriced too as the taste was so-so and they were really dry. Look carefully West along Dundas for a place where you can get three oversized (I'm talking twice the size of these hamster portions), double tortilla tacos for 25% less!!!

I ordered from this place a few times. Previous times tacos were good but the portions are getting smaller... Yesterday I ordered crispy tacos and got soft tacos, which came in the small box and now have become even smaller. 3 tacos is not enough for a meal. I called the place and told them they gave me a wrong order. 3 stars is for bad customer service because the guy that picked up said nothing he could do here and next time they will add some thing nice to my order... there are better places at Kensington to order tacos...
