The letters OMFG best express how delicious the Tuna tartare was. It’s been about 4 hours now and I’m ready to go back and order it again. Absolutely outstanding. The overall space was quite loud, but the tuna tartare made it all ok. Apple and Pear crumble for desert was also delicious, but doesn’t come close to the tuna. A substantial wine list along with a huge selection of other alcoholic drinks was also available. Did I mention how good the tuna tartare was? 🤤🤤🤤

Fantastic pasta and good portion size. One of the better carbonara’s I’ve had in the city, very flavourful and creamy. The orecchiette was also delicious and perfectly done. Great value and experience overall

Walked in right before their last call, staff were friendly and welcoming. Ordered Carbonara and Alla Norma pasta. It's hard to find a Carbonara this good in Toronto, simply was GREAT! Temperature, timing, flavour and presentation were on point.

Overall 3.5 stars experience. We got the shrimp cocktail for starters, the lasagna and linguine di mare for entrées, and as dessert; lemon tart and tiramisu. You’d imagine for the price point that they are at, they would be doing a lot better. The table next to us was basically being used to stack all dirty dishes. Like did they not have enough room in the kitchen for it to be stacked away? Very unprofessional. Our servers were constantly changing, but that i don’t care because i get how it can be busy. When i asked if they could make me a Cacio é pepe, the waiter had no clue what that was. Quite odd for a medium-high end ITALIAN restaurant. The shrimp cocktail was good, i liked the presentation on the seaweed. The linguine was average but i liked the amount of seafood in it - good ratio to the pasta. The lasagna was terrible and a lazy take on a lasagna. The lasagna was just the pasta pastry stacked on top of one another and covered in parm. And the sauce was not part of the pasta but all around the plate instead. Cooking it that way prevents the pasta from cooking in the sauce so i’m not sure what the intention of that was. The lemon tart was good, not too sweet and good amount of lemon. The tiramisu had to be one of the worst i have ever had. Again, another lazy take of a signature plate. Instead of soaking the biscuit in the coffee/rum/or whatever sauce, it was simply placed on top of the filling? And then whipped cream sprayed on top. That caused the biscuit to be crunchy instead of soft… not a tiramisu! Only good was service received from Edwin.

I’m going to be completely honest with this review. Thought this place might have good food because it’s cute and the prices are high. Was looking for bougie yummy vibes but was very disappointed. 4 different plates and they were all bad. The gnocchi was overcooked and taste gross. The only way my friend could finish it was by putting a different sauce on it he rated it a 1/10. The carbonara was the worse I’ve ever had in my life absolutely disgusting I couldn’t even look at it. My friend switched plates with me so I ate the idk the name but it was also disgusting and oily. The risotto was ok, not the best, wouldn’t even enjoy eating it. The drinks were also gross but at least it was strong. The calamari fritti and octopus was yummy. The serve was not even present and had an attitude. Will not be returning here and do not recommend. Overall very cute place but with horrible food and service.

Exceptionally good Italian cuisine. We had a Margherita pizza and the pan seared lasagna. Both were excellent. The oven baked bread appetizer was also delicious. Enjoy!

Trattoria is a decent enough place to eat in the Eaton Center if you're looking for more than fast food. It was pretty full towards 8 pm onwards just before the mall closed. As for the food I wasn't all that impressed with the quality however the presentation was decent. The tuna was a tad rubbery in texture. The eggplant pasta was a semi filling bowl filled with vegetables. All in all I felt the portion sizes could've been a bit bigger. The chocolate cake for desert was also pretty good with the ice cream. I didn't mind my experience here but I'm not sure I would return to eat with other restaurants nearby.

A really beautiful restaurant, but in my opinion the value for money isn't really there. Portion sizes on the dishes are really small considering how expensive they are. You won't come out of here spending under $30. I do recommend the mushroom pizza, as the flavours were pretty good and it was light. Our server was nice but we were kind of tucked away on one side of the upstairs seating.
