We ordered this via Uber Eats and were looking forward to it with the high stars and great reviews. Unfortunately, spending $100+ on this for a family dinner was very underwhelming. The sushi platter (party tray B) had rolls that looked like they were thrown together - avocado was browning on top of the rolls and brown inside the rolls. The sashimi looked like they had put some soy sauce on it ahead of time which was strange. The worse was the weird sashimi that was this brown colour and I have never seen sashimi that colour before and we opted not to eat it for safety - it looked like roast beef. The beef and chicken yaki udon was average. Beef was overcooked, and parts of the chicken tasted like it could've used more cooking time.

Ria provided exceptional service! The candy in the end was such a nice touch 🥹 rolls were really good, big and decent rice to filling ratio. Ambiance is cute. Drinks were nice too.Now def fave sushi spot.

The food touches my soul. See in picture: $22.95 assorted sushi (12 pieces). It also comes with a miso soup and salad. The fish is very fresh and the rice is absolutely delicious. The flavour of the sauce is smokey and the texture is creamy and just amazing. The food portion is quite large, so one plate is enough for one person. My friend got the salmon bowl, and the salmon was very fatty and creamy. The wasabi is also fresh. The people serving food are also very nice and considerate. Everything is great. Highly recommend.

Good quality and taste, extensive menu, excellent service, reasonable prices. Was in the neighbourhood and in the mood for some Japanese. Chanced upon this spot and was pleasantly surprised. I mean, when your meal starts with a fresh heated hand towel, that's a good sign. Now on to the food: - Assorted Aburi Sushi: Definitely assortment as there was a lot of variety. Great light sear on the sushi. Good protein to rice ratio. - Ceviche: Generous chunks of seafood, properly sour, with crackling chips on the side. - Panko Soft Shell Crab: Glisteningly deep fried exterior, soft and chewy interior. - Unagi Donburi: Standard taste but good portion size. Also liked how it had a lot of veggies. Service was topnotch. Kitchen was quick. Prices were reasonable and the cash discount made them great for the quality you get. What's not to love about this place?

Loved the place. Great decor but more importantly fantastic service from our server. And the food... delish! Pocket friendly sushi place with great quality. Definitely going back again soon! Also, you get 20% off on cash payments. That's a win in Toronto!

I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular! This place had such tasty rolls that basically melt in your mouth. The toto roll is a must try. Staff is also super attentive and the ambiance is a nice bonus as well.

I found this amazing hidden sushi spot that’s cozy, welcoming, and seriously underrated. The hospitality was next-level—they even handed out hot towels, which felt like such a thoughtful touch. The sushi? Fresh and delicious. And the prices are shockingly affordable for the quality. It’s a comfy little place with a great vibe, perfect for a laid-back meal. Definitely worth checking out!

I wish i could rate it 6/5 . Absolutely loved my experience at toto sushi . Not only is the sushi exceptional, but the owner[John] goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their recommendations are spot-on, and they genuinely care about their customers. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was spotless, creating a clean and inviting dining environment. Highly recommend for anyone seeking top-notch sushi and impeccable cleanliness! Definitely my go-to sushi spot from now on!
