Toronto Chaatwala

We are here in Toronto from Dallas for our Thanksgiving Break and we happened to stop over at Chaatwala for our lunch as we were so hungry.. not having great expectations we entered this resturant but we ended up having a lip smacking meal 😋. Meena at the hotel took exceptional care of us and ensured our food was served and tasted good too.. our plus 1 review to this resturant.. do visit and enjoy your meal

Went to this place after so many hopes and checking reviews but the place food isn’t that great though I ordered two samosa initially for taste m, but only they were not worth it, nor they tasted like samosa, were no even spicy, and the portions soggy and oily. The place is unreasonably expensive for this kind of food as the two samosa costed around $7 after tax and a drink of sprite cost $5. Thankyou I did not spent more. I would not go at this place again. Customer service is great but food service should be improved.

My plate of Vada Pav was delicious!!! It was perfectly spiced and crispy. The chutneys added a great balance of tanginess and heat. It was served warm, which made the experience even better. Moreover, the staff’s cheerful demeanour made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended when I crave for proper Indian chaat, Toronto Chaatwalla is my go to place.

Visited with my family. A typical Indian street food you will get here. We ordered: Dahi Bhalla, Samosa Chaat (my favourite), Mumbai Vada Pau, Pahado Wali Maggi, Pau Bhaji and Karak Chai (as it was raining so we tried strong Tea). Ambience was awesome and I loved desi Indian quotes of each food hanging on the wall (Picture attached). Staffs were friendly and price was very decent. Very tasty food and definitely will visit again.

We ordered chole bhature, samosa, kadak chai and Formula one chai along with Pao Bhaji. Food was great and service was exceptional too. Pao was a bit dry and old for sure, but overall it satisfied desi cravings that often pops up. Keep it up !! And we will definitely drop by again.

This restaurant is a gem! The chole bhatura is perfectly spiced and the bhaturas are fluffy. The kurkure chicken momos are crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor. With great service and a warm atmosphere, it’s a must-visit. Highly recommend!

The chaat items are fresh and very flavorful. The chicken samosa filling was a little dry but overall it was spicy and tangy which we liked. The chola batura had very less oil which we loved. highly recommend to try chola batura. The dining area is decent and has a nice ambience. During peak busy hours like evenings the waiting time is beyond 30min so better visit before. If you are craving authentic Indian street food like pani puri, this place offers a great spot for a quick real taste of india.

Recently opened place in downtown as the name says chaat place. We tasted Vada pav and street style chole. Food over here is amazing in taste . People who are true foodie will love this place for food. However I did not like the ambience as the place is not that neat and clean . The entrance door was not cleaned at all for a newly opened place.The tables were not cleaned when I entered and was never cleaned for the newly arrived customers. The place says self service so we have to order and fetch our food from the counter( less work for them) this time and energy be used in cleaning the place. Overall the experience for food is wonderful and nobody can beat that . I love the menu have attached all the pics .
