Small gem in Hamilton! Have had their food both in-person and as takeout! Flavors are there, very fresh, crispy! Never too oily, decent price! Worth the visit for sure!!

Pretty nifty little Syrian restaurant tucked away in downtown Hamilton. Tomah is really well rated and I had to try it, although I’ve had better shawarma before, it still ranks on the higher end of my shawarma rankings because it tasted genuine and fresh! The fries were also incredible, and my partner really enjoyed her falafel meal

The food was great and they gave generous portions! But even if it wasn’t, I would go back purely because one employee was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond for me and my partner even though we just ordered takeout! This place deserves to be frequented and I wish them lots and lots of success! Not pictured: They also gave me a lil tea, soup, and falafel even though I was takeout which was SO appreciated and makes me feel that much more inclined to visit them again when I’m in Hamilton next! :)

I recently dined at a wonderful Syrian restaurant that truly impressed me with its exceptional quality. The food was not only simple but incredibly delicious, showcasing authentic flavors with every bite. The service was equally remarkable, exuding warmth and generosity that made the experience truly special. The staff's genuine care and hospitality added a personal touch that complemented the excellent meal perfectly. If you're looking for a place where the food and service come together seamlessly, this restaurant is a must-visit. And don’t forget to try their unique Kebbeh, grape leaves and cabbage leaves stuffed with the finest ingredients, and the most important drink to try and enjoy it is the magical tea

When coming to authentic Syrian food, this is the place you need to visit, and if you want a descent middle eastern food this place is a must. I visited yesterday and their falafel might be the best I had in Canada. The only thing I can say is that the Syrian cuisine is huge and their menu only offer a small portion of it. It is indeed the taste of Syria

We recently visited this Syrian restaurant and had a great experience. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the selection of sweets was impressive. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good overall. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms could be improved. Despite that, we enjoyed our time there and would recommend it for the tasty food and good service.

Wonderful experience! Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Customer service was outstanding, felt like part of the family. Visiting Hamilton and have visited Tomah twice this week already! Truly a hidden gem in Hamilton- would definitely come back.

I visited Tomah a couple of months ago on my way to Niagara Falls. For someone who used to eat falafel 2-3 times a week growing up, it is really hard to find a good falafel in Canada (I tried so many places in different cities). Tomah, however, makes really delicious falafel and hummus. One of only two places I would recommend. If I live around Hamilton, I would be a frequent customer, but I am a bit far away. Highly recommended.
