Tokyo Sushi

This restaurant is right in our neighborhood, and I finally got a chance to try it for the first time. We ordered a lot of sushi, and they even treated us to some complimentary appetizers. The sashimi and nigiri were pretty decent—definitely worth the price. I absolutely loved their tempura app—it was perfectly crispy and delicious. Overall, we were really satisfied, and the staff was super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I ordered some sushi for take out. There is special roll for appetizers is “cucumber salad rolls.” It is salmon, mushrooms, avocado, crabmeat wrapped the cucumber without rice. strongly recommend it. Definitely try it.

Yum Delicious Great food The hot saki was the perfect temperature. $28 meal easily fed 2 people with a lot of sashimi, dragon roll, sushi… they also gave us complimentary appetizers ,a few hot and cold dishes. Delicious! Great service Open all day Easy to park. A lot of street parking

Wonderful sushi place, they always had great tasting food and fresh sashimi over the years that I've visited, though now I've moved far and can only come by for special occasions. I ordered takeout somewhat last minute for a special sashimi platter for my parents' anniversary, so I was there early to pick it up. I could see that they were super busy, but was still putting in the effort to make it fresh and not cutting any corners for their orders. Bottom line, fresh, good tasting food, and exceptional service, will continue coming in the future!! I’ve heard many good things about this place. I went to check it out and was disappointed. Flavor is good. I’ll give them that but I got the lunch special which was miso soup and 12 rolls. Miso soup- I don’t mind some tofu but there was way too much (see photo) plus It wasn’t even hot. It was barely warm. Sushi roll - it was rushed or something but it was messy. you can see it for yourself how one sushi in the left looked perfect and the other two wasn’t even a full size roll!!?? Overall flavor was decent but the sushi down the street “Mac Shushi 524 Eglinton) is better and their lunch portions are bigger too!

The only reason food did not get 5 stars, because any food in any restaurant always has room to be better...Tokyo food is outstanding, great variety,made very fresh. Quality is very good and presentation is 10. Service is good, friendly . I use Tokyo sushi for many years, always great 👍.

This is one of my go-to places to get sushi. Food is good, owners are friendly and prices are fair. It is consistently solid and take-out is quick. Would be nice if they stayed open later on weekends. However, it may not be worth it for them to do so.
