This place has been my home for the last 3 years! Everyone is so welcoming & they never forget a face. They always remember to greet you & every single person that works there is the absolute sweetest. The owner always gives us a warm welcome. She’s the absolute best. Of course the food & sushi is amazing! Always so fresh & tasty & probably the best in Toronto. We could never choose another sushi place to dine at. The food is amazing but we truly come back for the service & atmosphere! ❤️

Everything was quite nice, food was good and the service excellent. However, they do not allow split pay and it was such a hassle when I had to send money to my friend via ET. I hope they can take apple pay from each person next time. 🥹 No miso soup comes with any of the sushi menu

If you're in Toronto and love sushi, Tokyo Sushi is a must-try! This cozy spot has quickly become my favorite place for sushi, and I’m always impressed with the freshness of the fish. Whether it's salmon, tuna, crab, or shrimp the fish always melts in your mouth, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is so welcoming—every time you leave, the entire staff says "bye" in the warmest, cutest way. It makes the dining experience even more special. The staff is incredibly polite and attentive, and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great meal. Sometimes they even offer complimentary hot tea, which adds a nice touch to the already delightful experience. I highly recommend Tokyo Sushi—whether you're a sushi connoisseur or just someone looking for a cozy, delicious meal, or a sushi date this place won’t disappoint!

Kakimaze Don - Wide selection of seafood, tempura bits and poached egg on top of rice. Egg was rich and rice was well marinated, sea urchin wasn't overly salty, scallops were slightly too seafood, and eel was good.

Tokyo Sushi at Saint Joseph had an authentic feel to the atmosphere with the servers speaking Japanese and J-pop in the background. Service was prompt and the food delivered quickly. Server was knowledgeable about allergies in food for our safety. Sushi and sashimi were fresh and of good quality and taste. We will definitely go back again with the good lunch specials.

I happened upon Tokyo Sushi today with my friend and this is, hands down, one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cute and the staff are all very lovely people. The food was very delicious 😋 I treated myself to the Kakimaze don and I was pleasantly suprised about how flavorful it was! I definitely recommend it of you're a big seafood lover! Don't miss this hidden gem!

Amazing food and service!! It's really hard to find sushi restaurants that don't overstuff a small piece of fish with rice, but this place has the perfect fish to rice ratio. Every menu item I've had here was always tasty and fresh. The service is also fantastic, the owner is very nice, I visited with my family and she gave us a complimentary dessert :) my favourite sushi place in the city
