Its twice now that I’ve ordered curry rice for takeout and they put the curry itself inside a plastic bag and then they put the plastic bag full of curry inside the container so one has to pour the curry from the bag inside the container to eat and a lot of it gets stuck to the bag when the portion is already tiny. See picture for the ridiculously small portion they give you as they don’t pour it inside the container themselves to know how much of it fills up. I used to eat here all the time in the past few years and the container used to be filled to the brim with curry and I gave them the benefit of the doubt when the portion size dropped the first time but they proved the second time that they’ve chosen to do it and I will not be eating here again. Also note that Uber eats advised me that the restaurant flat out refused to reimburse me for the tiny portion. So they chose not to correct themselves.

The food was exceptionally delicious! Three words to describe the experience? Authentic, fresh and reasonably priced 😍😋 We ordered the chicken katsu curry and the spicy pork bento box!

We came in during Labour Day lunch time. Everything is ordered via an iPad including water. I ordered the curry udon and it was really lacking. The noodles and curry mix seems to be made from pre packaged mix. There only thing that was redeemable is the Bento. Skip noodles/udon. This place is good for karage and grill food. Chicken karage and grilled fish were amazing.

For the past four years living near this place, it was definitely my go-to place with huge portions, great vibe interior and amazingly kind servers. Tonight, they gave me burnt fried chicken, sukiyaki (soupy beef dish) that taste like burnt end of the pot, and the spicy pork dish that has 70% fries covering instead of pork. Never going to this place again ever.

Great little place and very affordable. Dishes for lunch range from $10 to $18 with most bento boxes at $13. The food is tastey and filling.

I had their beef teriyaki Bento, which is a very western take on Japanese food, but the Bento had all the makings of an authentic Bento with the tsukemono, and actual side dishes that you would see as if you were dining in Japan (I lived in Japan for 10 years). The taste is very mild but delicious. Price was reasonable and I would definitely come back again.

Our first time trying the dining experience here and we were very impressed. The service was excellent. The food tasted phenomenal. Fantastic job to the cooks and staff. The vibe here made you feel like you are actually in Tokyo and I am happy with it. The music ambience was pleasant and it is a very cozy restaurant. The menu does have decent selection for everyone and I look forward to trying something new upon our next visit! Also on a side note - do not skip the mango cheese cake, it is tasty!

Just had a phenomenal meal here! So delicious, fresh, and flavourful. The service was quick and extremely friendly. Our server was so kind and radiated positive energy. Such a wonderful atmosphere with amazing food. I would recommend to anyone!
