We had so much fun at our work Christmas party! 🥳 Thank you to Chef Young for hosting us ❤️ The food was incredible 🤤 Really enjoyed their sharing plates: Fried Chicken, Kimchi Fries, Lotus Root Chips, Seafood Arancini, Tteok Bolognese, Tiger Den Japchae, and Crispy Eggplant. Appreciated that they had Non-Alcoholic drinks as well. I tried both the Yuja Lemonade and Omija Soda, and prefer the lemonade. I think the Omija Soda is too sweet for me, and generally, I don't like drinks with a slight floral taste 😅 🎤💃 There is also karaoke here, which was fun after our meal & party games!! They have two microphones for those duets 😉 The evening was wholesome, wild, hilarious, and we're so happy we made such wonderful memories with each other! 😍🫶 Thanks again!

If you ever noticed walking down Baldwin Street it's a ever growing street of great food and one hidden gem I would say is Tiger den. Tiger den is tucked away on the lower floor which offers a Korean snack bar with a relaxing ambience. If you need a place to grab drinks have great shareable plates with friends I would recommend Tiger Den.

Tiger Den Tavern offers an incredible dining experience with a unique Korean fusion style that sets it apart. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is chill, with a slightly modern yet cozy and unique decor! They host some interesting artwork from local artists that appears to change from month to month. Also got some cool graffiti all around. The food is fresh and flavourful, creatively blending traditional Korean elements with a new take on modern dishes. Each plate reflects a thoughtful approach to flavor, and the vibrant menu caters to a variety of tastes, including some veggie/vegan options. Whether you're sipping on their signature cocktails or enjoying a mouthwatering meal, Tiger Den Tavern guarantees a memorable culinary adventure. Great place to hang with your friends and enjoy the karaoke or take advantage of their happy hours. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a fresh and exciting dining experience, that isn’t expensive!

Great trying out tiger den, chef Young’s new endeavour. Recommended from a few friends, I stumbled across an intimate beautiful restaurant with great art and food (and happy hour!). Honestly tried basically all the dishes and everything was worth getting. Personal favourites were the beef patty, jokbal, kimchi fries. Sharing late sizes make it perfect for the abundance of beer they carry on hand from local breweries. I can honestly see this place popping off and becoming some DJ spot with clubbing environments at night. Best of best is I will definitely be a return customer to try out more of their vision and dishes.

Hidden gem alert! Tuck in a basement level of Baldwin street lies a hidden gem! This Korean styled snack bar has a lot of shareable plates with your friends. The price is affordable and the presentation is on point. Service was quick and the staff explained each dish. Tteok galbi is a very fun dish. I would rate it the best item I tried there. It's a bunch of crispy bits and a delicious patty in the bottom. Kimchi fries is delicious as well, with Spanish elements. They use a bravas sauce. The eggplant dish is another favourite of mine, the crispiness of the fried eggplant paired nicely with the refreshing zesty sauce. A good filler dish was the egg on rice. One of the best marinated soy eggs l've had. Perfectly balanced not too salty. Great yolk

Art filled space (so refreshing to take it all in!) with non stop Kpop bangers. We thought this place was tappas but the portions were generous. Definitely over ordered for two. Awesome place for drinks/cocktails and tasteful bites

I recently visited this brand new Korean bar on Baldwin St. and was blown away by the experience! This place is unique and cute, blending authentic Korean flavors with a contemporary style. The chef, who previously worked at luxury hotels like The Ritz-Carlton and Shangri-La, brings a high level of expertise to the menu. The atmosphere is fun and unique, featuring Korean modern art throughout the restaurant, including the bathroom! The service was friendly and prompt, and the highball cocktails were so refreshing and yummy. The food was phenomenal! The dishes, served tapa-style, are perfect for sharing and sampling different flavors. Despite the fusion approach, the food still tastes authentically Korean, but better! Every dish was fresh and delicious, showing the chefs' thoughtfulness and effort, which is rare to find in regular Korean restaurants. Overall, my experience was amazing, and I can't wait to return to try more dishes. This place is like no other Korean restaurant I've been to in Toronto. Highly recommended!
