I was craving caramel french toast and I found this place. The food was pretty good. I don't see other reviewers posting pics of the french toast so I would recommend it. As for the service, I wasn't happy because the server kept leaving the doors open when she was cleaning the outdoor tables while it was cold, rainy and windy outside! I didn't mention that to her as she seemed to be in a bad mood. Still I would recommed the place for their caramel french toast.

We had the most amazing brunch experience, and it was all thanks to Amy!! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome, she was incredibly attentive, ensuring our coffee cups were always full and that we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. What really stood out was their attention to detail—like recommending the perfect dish for our dietary needs (medium maintenance girl here:) and the food was ..chefs kiss! Amy truly went above and beyond, making the meal feel like so much more! And she’s hilarious!! We will be coming back and hope to be seated in Amy’s section!

Came here for high tea for the first time. Reserved online. I tried messaging them to see if I could bring my young child, but I didn’t get a response. Luckily they let her in, as she was very excited. They serve high tea only 4pm and after on Fridays to Sunday. They otherwise serve brunch like pancakes and omelettes. Coming in, we were greeted by the waiter who seated us immediately, close to the entrance. There was only one other table of patrons there when we got seated and when we left an hour later, no one else had come in. There are two other people (2 chef?) in the back. As there weren’t many people, it wasn’t rowdy at all. Just some music played in the background while we all talked to our own parties. The options are: Full set high tea: 5 savory and 5 sweet and a tea pot for $59/person. Half set: 5 savory OR 5 sweet and a tea for $35/person. They have other options too on their menu (French toast, yogurt, etc). My child chose the chocolate covered cheesecake bites - 5 pieces for $10. They sat on top of cream and she really enjoyed it. She also tasted some items from our tower. We all preferred the sweet over savory from the towers. My mother got earl grey tea, I got a herbal red berry rooibos tea (happy there is another caffeine free option than peppermint and I really liked it). It had a vanilla taste. They also served all of us ice water. What we got today: Savory - salmon, cream cheese, cucumber sandwich - 2 meat filo things - spicy tuna ball (very spicy) - baguette with fig jam and Brie and blackberry Sweet - white chocolate cheesecake bite - red Bundt cake - macaron - scone with strawberry jam and whipped cream - a cookie (with the rosebud) that tasted like shortbread and coconut - biscoff mousse with dolce de leche

Gorgeous brunch and the menu variety is perfect. The eggs benny with salmon were impeccable and the fluffy stack of pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream were IG worthy. Hash browns made with a blend of potato, sweet potato and onion. Bottomless coffee. Specials of the day super tempting. Don’t understand why there aren’t lines out the door. Will go back and try the sandwich menu next time.

Very cute place, we discovered after eating at Jing’s restaurant a few doors away. We wanted to have coffee and a piece of cake and thought that this place would have some cakes considering the name of the store has “cakes” on it. We were told that the cakes were only if we did the afternoon tea course. We opted to just have the coffee instead which came in nice coloured fun mugs. Coffee was so so but the interiors and the server’s friendly and helpful attitude more than made up for it. I would return to try their brunch as it seems good. They also have a patio which would be a nice place for brunch.

Love love love this place! Have come here many times and brought many friends to show them this gem since I found it. Service is always fantastic. Today we had the pleasure of having Zack be our server. Lots of friendly genuine banter and accurate, fast service. The food, is so good, I always get one of the Benningtons. You can taste the quality in the eggs and they use a perfect blend of spices. The home fries have a lovely twist of having both regular potatoes and sweet potatoes, accenting the meal perfectly. Each meal is full of flavour and you feel great after eating. The vibes are immaculate, the aesthetic of the place is full of joy and always makes my day brighter. Definitely a highlight of my weekend brunches. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Worst breakfast I have ever had and the service was atrocious. I tried the new location in the Beaches on Queen Street East. It was their soft launch, so I knew there could be some delays, etc., while they work out the kinks and had no issue with this, as I like trying new spots and supporting local establishments. Given it was Mother's Day it wasn't too busy. Line up of 3/4 parties only to get seated and at 90% capacity. The host is extremely disorganized. Cant remember the order of who arrived first/last. Gave my table to people that arrived 15 minutes after me (after a 45 min. wait), that were not on the waitlist, thought it was funny, said he got confused and didn't even apologize. This is why restaurants write down the party names when they check in for a table. Then forgets about us, I ask the server to get the host and the server comes back and says yeah you can just take this table and points at it. A table that two other people asked to move from that wasn't even wiped down because it was beside the patio and there was a cold breeze. Didn't get walked to the table. Didn't receive any menus. No one came to attend to us for over 10 minutes. Finally the server comes and she has the most unfriendly look. Not polite. No Happy Mother's Day. We order two drinks. 10 minutes later no drinks. Ask to speak to the Manager, but she's gone. When she comes back she apologizes and says the drinks are on her. Then we get 2 drinks that aren't what we ordered, lol! A watered down lemonade and traditional mimosa. She realizes she made a mistake with the mimosa and asks the server to make another. Then we wait 30+ minutes for breakfast. I wasn't upset about the delay for the reasons already expressed, but when we get our meals what a joke! Eggs Bennington without hollandaise. A tsp on the side beside each English muffin. I asked for extra on the side and it was curdled. You turn the container over and it's super thick and doesn't move. Any reputable restaurant would not serve that to a customer. Such a basic sauce to make. Shows they don't care about quality. Salmon was non-existent, it was such a tiny piece. Don't bother having it on the menu, it's embarrassing. The English muffin was grainy and soggy. The infamous potato hash is basically over cooked boiled sweet/white potato with no flavor. The side salad is awful; spinach, tomato and cucumber in a terrible overly dominant vinegar dressing, lacking the 3 part oil to vinegar ratio rule. The lemon ricotta pancakes lacked lemon and the texture was gummy. They didn't even bring syrup! The beef sausages were dry and rubbery. When my child leaves a sausage on a plate you know something is wrong. I tried a bit and had to spit it out, it was chewy and terrible! Furthermore, the on the house drinks were charged to me. When I made note of it the server seemed annoyed to have to confirm and reprocess the bill. Please don't work in the service industry if you don't greet your tables, can't smile, tell the table your name, welcome them to the restaurant, etc. Even if the customer is not happy with the overall experience, professionalism is of the utmost importance. The manager basically said not much more I can do, as I've already apologized. Yes, she could have comped the meal, which by the way neither of us ate 95% of the meals because they were awful! She could have offered a gift certificate to come back and give the restaurant a try again after they settled in to try and earn back my business. This is what a reputable restaurant does that cares about their business and image. Especially, a new restaurant trying to establish themselves in a new area. The main area decor was lovely and I appreciated that they have a little lounge area to sit and wait. Unfortunately, they washrooms are not kept up or tended to regularly. What abuse. Expressing our disappointment in the service, quality of the food, cleanliness and poor management. My point exactly. A business that doesn't care about their customers! Avoid this terrible place.

When I went to tiarre’s recently, I was let down. The place was clean and had a decent vibe, but the food wasn't great. The fried potato as a side to almost all dishes tasted like they were cooked in old or burnt oil, which made the whole experience less enjoyable. Additionally, our server failed to inform us about any daily specials, adding to the disappointment of the meal. Overall it was okay though😊
