Thyme Ristorante

We live close to this restaurant and always thought of visited . Went today and the vibe is of an old traditional Italian restaurant , you’ll see many such places in Italy. It’s a 23 year old joint. The menu is vast with a lot of options , surprisingly they have Thai food as well which we didn’t want to try in an Italian place. We tried the garlic bread , caprese salad , a pasta which was chicken mushroom in rose and a risotto in Marsala wine sauce . The food was amazing , portions size good enough and service is very prompt. Only thing is noticed is that the drinks are on pricier side and can be lowered.

The atmosphere takes you back to Europe with their interiors, food was amazingly fresh, the house desert tiramisu could have been better, but service and the food was simply scrumptious

I always drove past this place, but never got to try until today. A friend recommended to try this place for dinner. We were three adults dining in. It is located in a small plaza. We went on a Thursday early evening. We were the only people there, but decided the day before to make a reservation in case. The place is quaint and clean. The server came right away and offered menus and water. Lots of choices to choose from. There was free bread given and dip with olive oil and Balsamic vinegar, bread was moist and good. Mains ordered the Spaghetti pustanesca - two of them, and veal with lemon sauce and vegetables. Also ordered half litre of red wine to share and brownie cheesecake to share between two people and chocolate raspebery tartufo. I myself got the Spaghetti dish and it was yummy! If you like Anchovies, Capers and olives, then this dish is for you. It was a good amount of everything in the pasta and it was extremely filling. The veal was also raved from my friend. The desert was rich and chocolatey, I shared with a friend that desert. The tartufo was a hit and it had a hint of sourness which balanced the chocolate flavour. We were all quite full from what we ate and drank. There were more people that came in as the evening progressed. The server came often and made sure our needs were met. Prices are not bad, mid range and the portions are decent sized.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. They open at 11:00 and made sure to get there early. I have been to this restaurant years ago and I believe it has a lot of renovations. Food was awesome. Spaghetti with meat balls was very tasty, sauce is creamy and it is just the perfect tomato sauce that I wanted. We also had the lamb which was also good as well as the penne. Bread was freshly baked.

I recently dined at this wonderful Italian restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. What impressed me the most was the diverse menu, which even included delectable Asian cuisine options. I highly recommend anyone in the area to support this fantastic local business. You won’t be disappointed!

My sister celebrated her birthday with the family at this restaurant. We started off with Cozze Riviera - fresh mussels steamed in herb and garlic with thyme tomato herb sauce and Garlic Bread. Then we had for our main courses Gnocchi Alfredo, Risotto al Funghi -  a mixture of mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese and leeks in a light cream sauce with imported arborio rice,  Risotto Frutti di Mare - fresh mussels, clams, calamari, black tiger shrimp, chopped tomatoes, parsley in white wine broth with arborio rice,  Spaghetti Puttanesca - spaghetti with black olives, capers, anchovies in garlic olive oil sauce, Fettuccini Alfredo, Salmone alla Griglia - grilled atlantic salmon with capers and white wine lemon sauce , Agnello alla Rosemary - grilled lamb chops with sun dried tomatoes and fresh rosemary in red wine sauce. It was difficult to decide what to order as one's main entree. Everybody enjoyed the meal since they were all so delicious, flavourful and tasteful. Customer service was excellent, price is reasonable, portions are just right. We will surely go back to this place and will recommend it.

Went for a birthday party, everything taste wonderful! The prosciutto plate is way smaller compared to the menu picture, so be aware when you order and tell them how many people is the dish for. Atmosphere is dim and romantic, service was good. The seating is a bit tight, but for a good restaurant is understandable. As long as that means less waiting, and sooner to the food~
