Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics! It's a good sign when pub food is delicious even without the alcohol. Appropriately named the dill-icious fish sandwich, it's part of their rotating menu items that I was lucky enough to grace upon this night. The tender and flaky haddock is breaded with seasoned panko and complimented with a creamy mayo balanced with some acidity from the malt vinegar and pickled jalapenos. The fresh dill is very aromatic, and fresh ingredients like the lettuce and tomato add to the juiciness of each bite. They certainly have their naming on point, as their Beef Wrendang presents a fusion of Southeast Asian tastes in their turmeric rice infused with coconut milk and beef chunks rendered soft and tender. Service was nice, ambiance was good too.

Really tasty food. Nice atmosphere. The large table is a bit tricky to get in and out of but that's the reality of a large group at a smaller place. Friendly staff and good service. I didn't get to try the beer since I was DD but I hope to get the chance to return and try it. The brisket sandwich was delicious. Although my friend's steak was presented a bit messier than it could've been but she loved the taste regardless.

I've honestly gone to The Wren so many times I can't count. At this point it's the restaurant I've visited the most times in Toronto. The food is always amazing, never had a single mediocre dish let alone a bad one. They have daily specials which are always fun and tasty and a nice switch up. Fantastic craft beer selection. Very nice staff. Portions always great, price always on point. I have nothing bad to say about the Wren and only high praise. Definitely check it out, or don't, so that I can still find a spot every time I stop by.

Stopped here while in Toronto. They had a wonderful Thanksgiving waffle during the long weekend. Everything was really good and such a nice place! A nice list of craft beer on tap too.

An AWESOME restaurant with a very solid burger, atmosphere, and top notch service. Went here on a Friday night date and ordered the Monday I'm in Love Burger ($23), a brisket sandwich ($21), and some drinks. The menu and drinks change quite often, so they won't be the same each week! The burger was absolutely phenomenal, with a good ratio of ingredients and toppings. Nothing felt too overpowering and the burger itself was very flavorful. My girlfriend's sandwich was also very tasty, with tender brisket that melted in your mouth. Admittedly, the fries were not so great as they were quite overcooked. I was asked about the quality of the food and although I didn't want to be a Karen about it, I told them about the fries. The staff was extremely understanding and apologetic for this and decided to give me a beer on the house! Overall, some fantastic staff and service, lively atmosphere, and delicious main entrees. Please come here and give this place a try!

I recently visited The Wren and loved it. The food was delicious, especially the grilled dishes. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. I highly recommend trying it. A great place for a good meal!

Great burger and beer selection, but be prepared for a wait! I had a pretty good burger here and really enjoyed their wide variety of beers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Just be aware that I waited for a bit more than 30 minutes on a Friday night. Still worth checking out, especially if you're not in a rush!
