The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer

We love the works on Lakeshore! Kirsten was our server and she was very welcoming and made excellent recommendations. The owner (at least i think he was the owner) was very friendly. They even offered to make a burger that was no longer on the menu! Food was hot and tasty and beers were ice cold and only $6! Nice to know that they're dog friendly too. If you want to bring your pooch, they'll seat you close to the door by the big windows. Best part - they give bacon treats!

My server. Extremely nice. I went there because I was craving their spicy fry chips and they were burnt. They had the awful after taste of being burnt. It was so disappointing but I was too shy to say anything. I wish I could post the video for you to see it better

I am a big fan of the works and have been to multiple different locations and haven’t been let down except at this location. The service is always exceptional and most experiences have been very positive but there have been some oversights in food quality on multiple occasions that lead me to leaving 2 stars. On two separate occasions including today, I ordered delivery and received my burger completely pink and raw inside. On one occasion I understand it was a mistake but this is 4 burgers now served raw. My husband ended up eating both and I had to order something else anyway because I wasn’t comfortable eating the obviously undercooked meat. Also on two different occasions I ordered the “juicy Lucy” and they had run out of the stuffed burgers and servers two children’s sized patties with melted cheese curds in the middle. If the item is out of stock they should inform the customer of this, not try to pass something else off as it. These are experiences I’ve never even come close to at any other location where I’ve always had excellent experiences. At the port credit location there is definitely an issue with lack of consistency.

The man who served us nicknamed Mike, was very kind and courteous. You could tell he really pays attention to details and enjoys making his customers happy. I would suggest to anyone to go here and have a burger. The burgers are juicy and cooked to your liking, with a huge variety of flavor combinations. A very clean and well furnished establishment as well.

The burgers are actually nice. The most remarkable ones for me are the Taste of Heaven and Elk burger. The service was excellent. Kirsten was really friendly and professional! Her recommendations were spot on and really elevated our experience. The atmosphere was great. Music was not loud and the tables were spacious enough for our orders. Will definitely come back!

The owner personally greeted us with such enthusiasm and kindness! The atmosphere was very warm and the energy was great! The staff are very nice and the owner even went out of his way to give us more fries on the house because of how much he could tell we enjoyed them! Definitely would reach coming by if you are in lakeshore port credit area!

First time coming to this place during my visit to the Port Cerdit waterfront, and I must say the food is super delicious! The burgers are awesome. Love the salad, and most of all, the onion rings are the BEST! Crunchy and tasty! I totally enjoyed my visit here, and the service was wonderful. Two thumbs up to the server, Utkarsha!

You really get what you pay for amazing quality burgers and chips. Full of flavour and love the amount of sauces you can pick from. The nacho poutine was a unique food item I hadn't seen before, and it turned out to taste really good. I would totally come back again.
