Absolutely amazing sushi! The attention to detail and quality is unmatched. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the menu has so many options. We ordered for the three of us and I was so shocked at what we picked up. The rolls are so big and unique and the sashimi is so fresh. We definitely enjoyed dinner that night! So glad we found this spot and that’s it’s close to home. Can’t wait to order again!

I’ve been here a handful of times and I keep coming back for more! Lauren makes fresh and delicious sushi, you can tell that she takes pride in the quality of her dishes. Hidden in east York eats - this restaurant is a must try. I get the Aburi Salmon Dragon Roll.

From the street and high Google reviews it almost seems too good to be true, but it's not. The shop is a hidden gem that's a part of a shared space with 3 other small restaurants to presumably share rent, and it transforms the space into an authentic cuisine food court. The food was amazing, and was eaten too fast to take pictures. Don't judge a book by its cover is a perfect metaphor to describe this restaurant and it lives up well to it's amazing reviews. 10/10 would come again

Absolutely fantastic! I work in the area and always frequent East York Eats. The service was fast, the food was delicious and the lady who helped us out was very pleasant! I will be coming back!

Taste of Sushi deserves a shout-out! I can't resist ordering from here every weekend. The sushi burrito, packed with fresh salmon and tuna, was delicious. Lauren, the owner and chef, is incredibly hospitable and always ensures a great experience. Highly recommend!

Lucky to find this excellent sushi takeout restaurant in the neighborhood. Located in East York Eats food hall (not on the website yet but it's been opened I think since Sept). There is some dine in there too but mostly for takeout. Huge variety in the menu and very reasonable prices for the high quality. Excellent quality - been there 3 times already after I discovered it in Jan. My usual is the Platter E party tray - highly recommended! Excellent quality ingredients freshly made with beet and yam bits to add color and texture to some rolls. Good size and great taste. Had the beef steak Don my first visit and it was wonderful. Loved the interesting combination with portobello mushrooms and Brussel sprouts and kale. Much more variety than any other typical rice bowl. Lauren is a fantastic sushi chef and super friendly. My new goto sushi restaurant !

Service and food; both 5 stars. Ordered a 56 piece (platter D) and by far one of the best sushis I've had in Toronto. When we went to pick up the lady at the counter was very sweet and kind. The sushi rolls were bigger than average, ingredients were super fresh adding to the sushi's delicacy. Its hidden in East York Eats with other food counters. Doesn't look like much from the outside but 100% recommend this place and we will definitely go back.
